Muniyandi Vilas

Saint-Vincent-De-Paul, Paris
06/04/2024: Dishonest don't take away what you pay for and don't want to know anything, that's what I paid for
05/04/2024: Not coming back again. As a Tamilian i'm disgusted by this place. This used to be my go to place. But, Worst Experience ever! On 7th of may, i was about have my lunch and then there was this waiter there who doesn't know how treat the customers. So, 1) the restaurant was a little free and then he asked us two of us to sit in a 4x4 table and then he was like asking us how to sit and which chair to sit on. Because that idiot want to sit another 2 people because they don't want to lose customers. I was like what the hell! Who the hell will be comfortable to make 2 x 2 strangers sit together. 2) When we ordered the parotta and it is a tradition sometimes to eat raita (Onion in yogurt) with the parotta and the curry. We asked him and he was like " Who will eat will this and sorry we don't give out." I was what the hell. what planet are you from? Because who is he to tell us what to eat with our menu and he charged us 1 euro for that stupid extra. 3) The food was okay, But the waiter who served me yesterday because of him. I lost the interested to eat there. And we won't be coming there next time. And i suggest people to Stay away from there. 4) Oh! Sometimes they keep things in the fridge and serve you later. The things that needed to be kept warm or the food that need to served fresh. Like they parotta, They keep it in the fridge. The Vadai's need to made daily But yesterday when i ordered it. it was flaking like a day old flour. I think according to the French food & safety this needs to address and fined. 5) And at last when i ordered the 2 tea and in the last minute i changed my order to one lassi and then the waiter had the audacity to ask my something that literally disgusted me " Oh! you are changing to lassi? " it's 2 eur extra. As if we came there without any money. As if we are dumb. Tamilians are known for their hospitality. But with my experience. This hotel is ruining our name abroad.

01/04/2024: I am an Indian living in UK. This is the worst possible tasting food I had in my entire life. When I shared this feedback with a waiter, she said I know and laughed. If this is the last restaurant on earth, I would like to die hungry!!
31/03/2024: It’s a small, no-frills restaurant with richly flavored food in a 100% vegetarian Indian style. The quality/price ratio is perfect, and the portions are quite generous. I was so caught up in the meal that I forgot to take photos of my dishes… And there are many possibilities for people eating gluten-free.

04/04/2024: Extremely generous and delicious lamb biryani
03/04/2024: This restaurant is enchanting 🙂. It was recommended to us by a friend of our son. We booked Thursday for 15 people at 8:30 p.m. Friday evening. Fortunately we were lucky 🍀. At the scheduled time we had our table set up to welcome us. The atmosphere is very pleasant, not too noisy and the service is fast and impeccable. No need to translate the menus to our American cousins, the waiters speak English! The dishes arrived very quickly and despite the number we were all served almost at the same time. All the servers were mobilized for our table before moving to another. That’s service 👍🏻! The restaurant is large enough to accommodate plenty of guests. The dishes are very good. They are very warm and very pleasant. You have from mild to spicy depending on your taste. The desserts can be enjoyed without any problem, and all you want to do is have another one... but good resolutions mean we didn't give in. So don’t hesitate any longer, if you want a good meal, go for it… …but leave us a place because for our part we will return 👌

29/02/2024: In my top 3 of the best Indian restaurants tested in my life, in the Paris region (and I have tried many). Here, we eat India, in its most traditional way. Everything is tasty, well cooked, well seasoned. If you don't like it too spicy you can mention it, but still expect fragrant flavors. I recommend the Thali, and its farandole of small accompaniments, or the Dosa Masai, a huge pancake served with condiments. The staff is kind and attentive, and the place is family-friendly. Very affordable prices. I will come back, for sure.
25/02/2024: Fast and efficient service Very smiling, attentive and pleasant staff. Excellent value

Ganesha Corner

Saint-Vincent-De-Paul, Paris
13/02/2024: It's a shame that the level has dropped: the sambhar is tasteless and the vadas overloaded with chili, little taste interest on arrival. Afterwards it's not expensive.
29/12/2023: It's the worst ever Indian restaurant I've ever been to, at Gare du Nord. We were suggested this restaurant for their famous musthafa Parotta (chicken stuffed Protta). By the end of the lunch, people who actually suggested and ate along with us were totally deceived since the recipe had been changed unfortunately and it was what they had eaten a year back. 1st deception, looking at their stale and artificially added dark red colored tandoori chicken displayed at the entry. 2nd deception, On reaching and discovering their congested tiny tables of 4 (bad decor candy green walls in the dark corners of the restaurant). 3rd deception, the water who didn't pay heed to us for more than 15-20 minutes despite calling him several times and making sign languages (thinking that may be had some hearing disability). 4th deception, when he was finally at our table, didn't note down anything of what we ordered and missed items we ordered and confused our order with the next table. 5th deception, having mentioned less spicy and then when you discover that you are literally in tears and gasping for water and sweet drinks every bite of other food. The musthafa parotta was a terrible mistake, only chicken bones found in the stuffed parotta and huge pieces of onions with absolutely no taste or whatever. Sambar provided for the thick doses was like boiled and steamed vegetables in plain unsalted water , again no taste at all and bland. These last two were the only ones that weren't spicy. I've never eaten or tasted srilankan dishes...This is probably how their natives consume extremely spicy and strange combos...like idiyappam with keerai (spinach curry), sime kind of a spicy chitney, spicy lentil curry and spicy chicken curry side dish. Please call this as "srilankan" restaurant and not mention "Indian" restaurant (definitely not South indian)!. After being totally unsatisfied with their food and the money wasted 😒 at their place had to go to our favourite south Indian restart, which is just around 30 feet away from this place and satisfy both our taste buds and hunger needs. If you are looking for a proper south-indian restaurant with the right amount of spices, well cooked food with care of their customers, value for both money and taste then skip this tiny corner (so called) restaurant at all costs !!!
