18/07/2026: We stayed one night at the campsite in Thoissey while passing through. Because we had poor service and food at our campsite in the afternoon, we decided to go to the village. We stopped at Colisée there because we saw a nice photo of the terrace on Google. It has a nice and cozy terrace. The pizzas were delicious and the service was friendly. They don't speak English there, but they do everything to help you. The terrace is pleasant, cozy, and romantic. We did have to wait a while to pay. It was very busy and there were only two people serving, whereas at the beginning there was only one. The ice cream was served slightly melted, but it was still tasty. Quite expensive for ice cream with sauce though, 7.50 per scoop. Vanilla ice cream with sauce of your choice. You can also get takeout there.

08/07/2026: The pizzas are excellent, perfectly crispy and deliciously topped. The Fiat 500 in the dining room and the Vespa reflect the owner's Italian heritage. The air conditioning is a welcome bonus in the current weather.

And above all, they are delicious. The service is always impeccable, with excellent advice on food and wine pairings when needed.

10/07/2026: I loved the delicious food. The ingredients they use are top quality. The service, perhaps because it was summer, was a bit lacking; there were some very young guys who seemed a little lost, but they were pleasant and very helpful, they just took their time taking orders. I think the manager is the owner, fantastic, very nice. The pizza, salad, and octopus were delicious. During my stay, I ate there 3 out of the 4 days I was in Ferenc Voltaire. Highly recommended.

30/06/2026: During my stay in Lyon in May, I visited this restaurant and had a great time enjoying the food, and the staff was all very nice! It was Kenji who served the most and he was very kind and patient. I ordered a seafood platter and cannolo, both were stunningly delicious 😋
