17/01/2026: Everything was perfect 👌 Attentive service. Excellent meal and the restaurant's interior was nice and warm. I really appreciated this, as it's very rare in this area to be able to stay warm inside a restaurant or bar.

03/09/2024: Excellent restaurant!! Welcome, setting, cuisine, everything is top notch!! Proof that vegan cuisine is as surprising and appetizing as other types of cuisine, executed by a talented chef, supported by staff who take great care of the customers. Revisiting Italian cuisine is not an easy thing to do and here, the challenge is perfectly met!! I highly recommend this "small" great restaurant!!!

21/11/2024: In my search for a small restaurant in old Nice, we came across this small restaurant which, with its frontage, takes you back to Nice's past and simplicity. No fuss and a reduced menu, the restaurant clearly displays its orientation: the Rôtisserie. I was able to taste all the meats via the mix-grill plate and the herb-roasted chicken. Everything is very well cooked, a real pleasure roasted like at grandma's. As for dessert, the roof is homemade, nothing surprising but it's good and in the end that's what we ask for. To complete all this, the welcome was very warm and friendly, a big thank you to Mamadou.

23/01/2026: The staff was friendly, but the wait was too long. The food was good, both in quantity and quality, but there were some things that could be improved. The products are high-quality, but they could be handled a little better.

13/01/2026: Very poor and slow service. They just walk by your table, don't offer you a menu, and don't take orders. A very bad experience.

19/09/2025: Very bad experience with a server (or the boss?) with gray hair who outright threw the menu in our face and spoke very badly to us, we were clearly not welcome. The white wine tasted of vinegar, frankly we didn't understand. We are from Nice and we have never been treated like that. So since there is a gay bar opposite, they probably don't want "this clientele" to overflow into their place and so we were mistreated for this purpose, because unless they did it on purpose, I don't see.

11/09/2025: We're always warmly welcomed at Café du Pin! Excellent service and a varied menu make it the perfect place for a drink with friends!

04/07/2025: Due to various factors impacting our trip we ate here a few times as it was the only place open on Sunday. The staff are excellent and very welcoming. Every meal we had here, steak, fish, pizza was very good….that is why we kept going back! If you are staying in any of the nearby hotels I highly recommend this little restaurant.

02/07/2025: At L’ETNA restaurant the quality of the food and wine is excellent all round. The Staff are friendly and hard working and you will remember them after a visit or two. Rim has a very warm personality, makes you feel at home and almost knows what you like from once you arrive. We can recommend this restaurant highly and it is definitely not the type of place you would expect to stumble upon in this particular area. We will always come back to this little gem. 07/07/2025: The place is probably closed by now but the night I was there the music was deafeningly loud and the owner/manager felt it necessary to be even louder in his microphone. Unbearable is all I can say.

20/06/2025: A really nice concept for getting together with friends or colleagues. Here they serve tapas, cocktails, and you can play pétanque (with a French accent).

06/11/2025: A very pleasant pizzeria, with good ingredients and fast service (less than fifteen minutes). I had heard great things about it, and I decided to give it a try on a rainy Saturday; I had a wonderful time. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal; I'll definitely go back!

28/10/2025: We arrived at this Italian restaurant without knowing it was there and were truly surprised by the very warm welcome. The people were friendly and pleasant, and they served us delicious pizzas 🍕 with incomparable flavors. Time stood still as we savored them with such joy, feeling like we were in Italy... Thank you! 24/08/2024: Didnt taste the food but the service was horrible. we were there with 5 frienfs and 2 ordered pizza and then they kicked us out bc we didnt eat enough pizza. no one else was even trying to get into ur poorly designed store so why kick ur only customers out... Lady working there was just rude and bitter. Also speaking italian expecting we were gonna understand. Would not reccommend. The man was nice tho :( poor guy

26/09/2024: For those who like generous dishes, go your way... We ordered truffle pasta, which was good, but in insufficient quantity to make a 26 Euro dish.... same for the walnut dish. Scallops, also good but 28 euros for 3 scallops and 3 green beans, it's still too expensive for the quantity. The service was average, they were full of juice and the highlight was the moment when we were offered a limoncello if we put a positive review on Google... Brief !! Lots of things to improve...
