01/04/2026: A very good experience at Le Chastel in Aix. I went with my partner and we had a wonderful meal. The dishes were generous and truly delicious, with substantial portions. The service was perfect: attentive, efficient, and very pleasant from start to finish. An excellent choice! 👍🏻

21/03/2026: I had the spaghetti bolognese, which was very good; it reminded me of my nona's cooking—true Italian cuisine. Be warned, the portions are very generous; only those with a hearty appetite can afford to order the appetizers. It was an evening meal with colleagues, and everyone was delighted. A great place to eat. The only downsides are the uninspired desserts and the somewhat dated decor, but hey, you go for the food 😋, not the ambiance.

28/02/2026: Sorry to disagree with some of the reviews, but while the window display is appealing, the rest is less so: the service systematically pushes you towards the most expensive items, the Italian charcuterie platter (€21, no less!) is a mountain of salad with very little meat (just placed on top, what a strange idea!), and the same goes for the Caprese salad (in Italy, there's no lettuce, lol). The pasta is just okay. Given the overall impression, I didn't try the desserts. In short, I wasn't convinced. A shame.

28/02/2026: What a wonderful discovery just 10 minutes from home! Everything was perfect from start to finish! The service was excellent and quick, the food exceptional (especially the almond and prune tagine), the hygiene impeccable (even the restrooms, which is rare!), and the passionate couple who took the time to explain cooking techniques and traditions... we'll definitely be back and highly recommend it! 🥰

05/04/2026: This place seems as old-fashioned as the owners. The dishes are expensive and either too salty or tasteless... an establishment to avoid if you don't want to spend two hours waiting for a plate of overly salty pasta. A place to steer clear of.

01/04/2026: An hour and forty minutes of waiting for… two pasta dishes. And even then, we never received them. We were the first ones to arrive at the restaurant, at a time when it was completely empty. As a result, all the customers who arrived after us were served before us, without any valid explanation. After an interminable wait, the waitress promised us that there was a charcuterie order ahead of us and that our dishes would arrive. Our dishes, which never did. At that point, we decided to leave. All this to celebrate a 30th birthday, completely ruined by nonexistent organization and a total lack of consideration for customers. No serious apology, no gesture of goodwill, nothing. Catastrophic service, shameful experience. Avoid at all costs.
