14/08/2026: Two excellent pasta dishes for €18.
However, when we came with our children, they kindly offered us pasta for the kids without telling us the price! They charged us €15 for a dish of four pasta pieces and four gnocchi with no sauce and nothing else—outrageous!
So, my advice is to come without your children.

14/08/2026: Just arrived after a long journey and we spotted this little place right away. 🍕 So we had to try it immediately! The pizza is made fresh and baked in a charcoal oven, definitely recommended! 🔥

The setting is stunning: an intimate atmosphere in the basement with beautiful exposed stone walls. We immediately felt at ease, especially since we received such a warm welcome.
Everything was absolutely delicious. Special mention goes to the salads, generous and bursting with flavor, and especially to the lamb—the best I've ever tasted! This piece of meat was so tender and perfectly cooked!
We finished on a high note with a perfectly gooey chocolate fondant, exactly as we had requested. It was an absolute delight.
We left completely won over!
A huge thank you for this wonderful evening!
13/08/2026: Had the pesto linguine and really enjoyed all the mixed vegetables as well as the adorable presentation! Vibe of the restaurant is very cozy (reminded me of a wine cellar but more romantic and with bossa nova music). The service is great as well. Would recommend the experience!

07/09/2026: The interior looks great and gives the place a bit of character, but the food itself was fairly mediocre. It is absolutely fine if you are specifically craving Italian and want something convenient, but there are stronger options around Place des Cardeurs. Not bad, just not especially memorable.
Edit to address the owners comments: I have nothing negative to say about this place, again, the food was fine. I was not directly comparing it to other Italian spots nearby but rather the many other restaurants around place des cardeurs.

23/08/2026: We went to eat there today. The pasta carbonara was very, very good, and the tiramisu was also very generously portioned.
I'll be back to try the other dishes and the pizza.

28/05/2026: €18 for 500g, €36/kg, for a pack of fusini pasta... surprised by the price, I bought it anyway, hoping for a higher quality... no difference in taste compared to supermarket Panzani at €5/kg... okay to pay more than at the supermarket, but it's still way too much
23/03/2026: The best gourmet grocery store in Aix! Everything looks so tempting, the Italian products are excellent, and the dishes prepared on-site are delicious 🤤
Special mentions for the lasagna and the parmesan mousse, which I can't resist ordering every time I visit

14/07/2026: I discovered Pizza Aixpress, a pizzeria that's been open since 1991, thanks to an acquaintance. I usually always go to the same place for pizza, so I was a little hesitant. But I have absolutely no regrets!
The pizzas were excellent, generously topped, and very tasty. Plus, the prices are really affordable: for two people, we ate very well without breaking the bank. The pizza chef is very friendly, funny, and creates a great atmosphere. As a bonus, he has excellent taste in music, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The pizzeria itself is also very attractive and welcoming.
A fantastic find that I highly recommend!

And the Nutella tiramisu… pure bliss! 😍 A real treat, I highly recommend it.
A big thank you to the owner for his warm welcome, kindness, and attentiveness. We felt truly welcome, and that was a real pleasure.
I'm so glad I discovered this restaurant for myself, because some of the negative reviews I'd seen don't reflect my experience at all. On the contrary, I had a wonderful time and I'll definitely be back.
