I was waiting in line to order when I saw the waiter turn around and lick the spoon before serving the person in front of me with the same spoon. So, of course, I left.

22/06/2026: A wonderful discovery at Istane Pizza, located at 30 rue Docteur Calmette in Grenoble.
This pizzeria offers a wide selection of takeaway pizzas, both with tomato sauce and crème fraîche. The dough is excellent, well-made, and homemade, which makes all the difference, and the toppings are generous.
I also want to highlight the originality of some of their signature creations, such as the Alla Burrata, Ave César, and Nathalie pizzas.
This time, I decided to venture off the beaten path by trying the Georgian specialties offered by the owner and chef, who is originally from Georgia. I tasted the Adjarouli and the Koubdari, and I can assure you they were a real treat.
I absolutely don't regret my decision not to order a classic pizza in order to discover these typical specialties. For cheese lovers, the Adjarouli is a must-try. For meat lovers, the Koubdari is simply excellent. I highly recommend trying these Georgian specialties, as they are unique to Grenoble. Furthermore, Georgian restaurants are still relatively rare in France, making this discovery all the more interesting.

14/06/2026: A very pleasant surprise. A small, unassuming restaurant in a quiet corner, with a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and a welcoming, friendly owner. You can tell most of the tables are occupied by regulars.

The food is flawless! The octopus salad was incredibly fresh, followed by perfectly creamy linguine with gorgonzola. You can taste the quality of the ingredients.
Special mention for the profiterole for dessert—a pure delight, the perfect ending to a wonderful meal.
I highly recommend it!

19/07/2026: This little restaurant doesn't look like much, but my daughter, husband, and I had a wonderful time. The food seems home-style, the dishes are good, the owner is friendly, and the small wooden terrace is very pleasant.

We gave late notice, arrived late, and were a large group, but we still received a very warm welcome. The dishes were beautifully prepared, and we thoroughly enjoyed them. We highly recommend the atmosphere. Well done and thank you for everything.

12/06/2026: The manager isn't very pleasant; he has his dog with him, which wanders around the restaurant, and he won't hold it when I ask him to because I'm scared. There's also a strong smell of cigarettes.
13/05/2026: Defective pizza, I don't understand what I ate. What's certain is that it wasn't good.
P.S.: Take care of your diabetes, the smell kills your appetite.
