04/05/2026: The aranchini as a starter was good, and the Italian wine was also good.
I wasn't convinced by the duck breast—I'd advise you to choose something else (the gnocchi, which I suspect were store-bought). But the pizza was quite good.
The "Sicilian lemon" ice cream wasn't from Sicily.
01/05/2026: That's what you call a pleasant surprise!
Passing through Blois, we needed to find a restaurant for May 1st. We stumbled upon La Scaleta.
The owner, busy but smiling, found us a table even though we hadn't made a reservation.
In no time, one of the waitresses (all smiling, friendly, and attentive) seated us.
We discovered MoleCola and enjoyed superb, delicious, and generously sized pizzas.
We finished with desserts in this little corner of Italy.
Highly recommended!
If we're ever back in Blois, we know where to stop for a meal. Best of luck to the whole team!

29/06/2026: We tried to eat there on June 27th.
The waiters moved us to different tables three times, only to finally serve us hot cocktails without ice and low-quality food.
The staff was unpleasant, except for one young student who was sorry about our experience.
In short, it was so bad that we had to eat somewhere else.
28/06/2026: Passing through Blois with friends, we decided to stop for a drink and some ice cream. We sat wherever we could find a table that hadn't been cleared. The waitress, who wasn't at all friendly, asked us to pass her our glasses when she could have gone around and cleared them herself. She also hadn't cleaned the tables. When our ice cream order arrived, it was practically melted.
The wait was also very long. I was very disappointed with this place, which otherwise seemed pleasant on this pretty square. I don't recommend it.

16/06/2026: Nothing extraordinary, in my opinion. I was expecting more flavor from my "revisited" cordon bleu.
Supposedly shredded, but just a chicken breast.
However, a major red card for the toilet hygiene 😡 Disgusting tiles and a smell of urine.
I hope the kitchen isn't in the same state.
15/06/2026: Nice place. The waitress on the terrace was freezing cold, no smile. So we just had a drink and went to have dinner elsewhere...

16/05/2026: This restaurant is very disappointing despite its attractive menu! It's really poorly organized, with long waits, unwashed salad, and the main course was almost cold—not very professional... In short, we'll never go back.
14/05/2026: It's always a bit disappointing to be served a reheated, mass-produced crepe. It's not that hard to make them fresh!
Especially when they're wrapped in Anglo-Saxon-themed paper in front of the statue of Louis XII, when the place has "royal" in its name.

19/12/2024: Delicious fries, congratulations to you, the best
12/10/2024: TO ABSOLUTELY AVOID.
The reception is cold every time, we are asked to notify by telephone each time when we ask for more than 2 trays of fries so... That it's a fries shack. Barely says hello, very slow too
The only thing that makes up for it is the fries... But I'm never going to set foot there again.
Too bad we can't give any stars.
