04/10/2026: The service wasn't up to scratch: our reservation wasn't recognized by the waiter, and a birthday message for a guest wasn't acknowledged. We've known this place for many years, but hadn't been recently. The food was inconsistent. The pasta carbonara didn't live up to the restaurant's reputation. The veal Milanese was good and a generous portion. And the lasagna, served late due to an order error, was a bit dry. Perhaps it wasn't the best idea to come on a Saturday night.

24/07/2026: I've been going there for almost 8 years and it's always been my favorite café. All the pastries are delicious, the drinks too, and the prices aren't excessive compared to the quality of the products.
All the employees have always been lovely. Please never close!

The staff is helpful and attentive: they perfectly understood my needs for carbohydrate loading in preparation for my race. The pasta was generous, delicious, and perfectly suited to my needs. 12/07/2026: We spent 3 nights in Lyon in June. My wife and both agreed that the Eggplant Parmesan from Assaggi was our best meal of this trip. We would like to come back to Lyon just to explore the menu here in more depth. This little take out was very near our AirBnb and our best culinary find in Lyon!
22/06/2026: We ordered a buffet of starters, the main course (lasagna), and a cheese platter for a reception of 30 people, and everything was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it!
