03/06/2026: On our first night in Lyon, we decided to try Italian food and chose Roma Capitale, our pasta was very good. My partner and I both ordered the Pasta with Tomato Sauce and enjoyed the flavors. The grated cheese added so much flavor to the dish. Very good pasta. The restaurant serves you bread with your pasta, nice touch. Overall, great meal.

29/03/2026: Almost flawless. Superb food, a warm welcome, and a professional and smiling waitress and waiter. It's a shame the manager who took over at the end of the meal was less so…unfriendly is unfortunately the right word. But the experience was still wonderful.

It has outdoor seating and an indoor dining area, both great options for this time of year in Lyon. Great Italian dishes and excellent desserts. Very good wine list. I recommend the polpettone with tagliatelle that I had, and the original tiramisu or the red fruit panna cotta for dessert. I arrived after my friends at the restaurant, but despite that, my order came almost at the same time as everyone else's. Worth trying!
