07/05/2026: La Casa de Pompeï is, for me, one of the best Italian restaurants in Lyon, a true Lyon gem. 🇮🇹 🇫🇷 Missing Italy? No worries: the staff will remind you of the cicadas' song and transport you instantly, as if you were already there. 🥰 The food is excellent, made with fresh, Italian ingredients, some even imported directly from Italy. The dishes are generous, hearty, and a delight for the taste buds. You can add extras for an even more indulgent experience. It's a real pleasure to eat there. 🤤😋🍕🍝 Bonus: they also offer cocktails, including house cocktails. 😋🤤🍹🍸 It's the perfect place to celebrate a birthday (I've already been twice!), with Italian birthday music, lighting effects, and staff who make you feel special. 🎉🎂 You can go with family, friends, colleagues, or even alone. They also offer private bookings for the restaurant for events. 😊 The staff is lovely, smiling, welcoming, and warm. They give excellent advice, especially on food and drink pairings. There's laughter, a friendly, family atmosphere, a comfortable feel, and you always have a great time with them. 🥰🤗☺️ You have several options to enjoy their dishes: dine in, takeout, or delivery. 28/06/2026: I came to this restaurant after buying three gift boxes for €53 each at Christmas, which were supposed to include two glasses of prosecco per person. Unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory: The meal: Very basic, absolutely not worth the €53 price tag. Only one cold pizza, a cold croque monsieur, and the other dishes were very simple. The service: We were never brought the second glass of prosecco included in the package. In the end, it was far too expensive for what was provided. I do not recommend it.

05/06/2026: We went there for breakfast. Perfect, nothing to complain about. €12 for the express option: hot drink, fruit juice, 3 pastries, 2 small pieces of bread, honey and butter jam. Table service. Welcoming and smiling staff. Very satisfied with our breakfasts.

22/06/2026: Friendly welcome, the pizzas were good but not exceptional. However, the unbearable heat ruined our meal.
