The raw fish was fresh and flavorful, the yakitori incredible, the ramen broth divine, and the duck dish delicate and full of flavor. The welcome was warm and the service quick. We were delighted, and I highly recommend this place.

Sat at the counter and watched the talented chefs, who personally served us a delicious Canard (duck) dish with sweet sauce and amazing sweet potato gratin. Atmosphere was bustling so the bus service was a fast pace and could slow down to provide customers a more relaxed environment. Loved the Japonais cuisine, though!

14/08/2026: What a fantastic discovery on Rue Sainte! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from start to finish. Everything was delicious, especially the bowl with the melt-in-your-mouth beef and runny egg. The presentation in the blue wave-patterned bowls was exquisite and immediately enticing. The okonomiyaki was also perfect, generously topped with bonito flakes that seemed to dance on top. A must-visit for lovers of authentic Japanese cuisine in Marseille. We'll be back very soon.

01/08/2026: One star for the food. If you're going to order the barbecue, be warned: the meat is poor quality. It has no flavor and is incredibly dry. The only good thing is the finely chopped white cabbage. 👍🏾 I'm used to eating at other restaurants, but I tried this one because my boyfriend said it was amazing. Maybe the sushi is good, but barbecue is definitely not their strong suit. One star for the service because they served my boyfriend with his sushi, and I had to wait 10 minutes for my barbecue, even though the table next to us arrived later and they got theirs first. The bill was very expensive, and I was very, very disappointed. First and last time at this restaurant. The waitress was very nice and smiling, that's all.
