15/08/2026: A fantastic place! We first went in May and the quality was excellent. We returned yesterday, in the middle of summer: the welcome was just as warm and the meal was delicious, fresh, and served quickly, all at a very reasonable price. We'll definitely be back!

17/08/2026: We ate there last night, the four of us. We ordered sushi, sashimi, yakitori, ramen, and a duck dish, so we explored the menu and everything was perfect. The raw fish was fresh and flavorful, the yakitori incredible, the ramen broth divine, and the duck dish delicate and full of flavor. The welcome was warm and the service quick. We were delighted, and I highly recommend this place.

17/08/2026: Enjoyed this lovely spot for a late dinner. Sat at the counter and watched the talented chefs, who personally served us a delicious Canard (duck) dish with sweet sauce and amazing sweet potato gratin. Atmosphere was bustling so the bus service was a fast pace and could slow down to provide customers a more relaxed environment. Loved the Japonais cuisine, though!

02/09/2026: The location and food are absolutely top-notch, approved by Japanese people (not us) and by a visitor to Japan (us). The sushi is excellent, approved by my very picky girlfriend! I was able to find unagi-don there, an incredible grilled eel dish, which I hadn't found since Tokyo. The three-course meal (starter, main, and dessert) is around €30, enough to stuff yourself, otherwise the ramen is under €20 and also very popular. The interior is really cute and air-conditioned. The exterior is nice, but can be noisy on a student night, as the restaurant is on a street full of bars.

28/08/2026: Ordered via Uber Eats: mushy fried onions, bland salmon, acceptable rice, and a rather tasteless avocado. The mayonnaise topping, however, was good. It's sad to say, but they're better and cheaper at Carrefour and Auchan. This shouldn't be the case. A very honest review from someone who eats sushi very regularly. First and last time at Sushi Shop.

24/08/2026: Order placed at 1:30pm, nothing is missing, sauces, baguette, napkins, freshness, everything is there!

30/04/2026: A very warm welcome, very friendly and pleasant staff, a great atmosphere, and delicious Japanese food 👌 The ramen soups are wonderful, as is the broth 😍 We also tried the harumaki and loved them; we'll be back!

23/03/2026: In just two months, you've become my favorite restaurant in Aix-en-Provence. I'm not an expert on Japanese cuisine, but I'm starting to really appreciate it thanks to you. It's incredible! The chef is a magician; how do you make it so delicious? I've been coming once or twice a week for lunch for the past two months. I love trying new dishes, and every time I'm blown away! And it's also worth mentioning that it's inexpensive and quick! Well done! You definitely deserve at least five stars.

20/08/2026: Great place I go to regularly! The atmosphere is friendly, and the dishes/sushi are varied and high quality. Excellent service, I highly recommend it.

29/08/2026: Nice terrace, but a very disappointing experience overall. I didn't like my minced beef donburi. It lacked flavor, the beef clearly hadn't been marinated in anything, the rice was soggy, and the vegetables were really bad. The service was inconsistent; some of the servers who brought our food were neither friendly nor chatty. The green tea and strawberry tiramisu (without strawberries) was also a letdown. And having to queue to pay at the shop was a real downer. Overall, a very mixed experience for me.

30/07/2026: Fantastic Japanese food and a great range of dishes to choose from. It's tucked away and beautifully done inside — a real gem hiding in the middle of a busy shopping zone. What a lovely surprise!

16/05/2026: Very good. The waitress was very pleasant. It's a shame it was so smoky; the ventilation is too weak. My eyes stung. Other customers were coughing. And the Lacoste wine wasn't good. I'm looking for improvement. Please don't take this the wrong way.

25/08/2026: Fast and efficient service, delicious food at affordable prices. The only thing that could be improved is the restaurant's ambiance. Aji Sushi remains a Japanese restaurant I recommend in Aix.

19/08/2026: The lunch menu is very appealing. There's a good balance between the amount of rice and the fish. You can taste all the ingredients in the sushi.

04/08/2026: Excellent quality, both of the food and the service. I come here regularly with friends, who, like me, are always delighted by this restaurant. Special mention to the head chef!
