07/03/2024: Small place but very well furnished, French and Japanese tastes meet a bit. The owner is Japanese and the cuisine offered is quite authentic, they respect traditional flavors but also have westernized dishes. The only thing I liked less was the chirashi: very good fish, rice cooked well but too abundant, I left about half of it and it's a shame. The waitress who made the dessert for us was very kind, given that we were full and would not have been able to consume it on the spot (it was an excellent, very fresh tiramisu that we ate the next day)

The image speaks for itself, it is fly larvae, in other words, the meat was placed there several days ago, that must be the reason why it is cut into pieces: that allows it to give a “fresher” appearance.
When we requested a refund we did not want to give the reason why we were leaving before consuming our meal out of respect since there were customers near the cash register.
But the receptionist insisted and spoke to us very badly when we pulled out the attached image.
It's scandalous. Without this disrespectful behavior I would not have published this review and would have kept the image secret.
I understand better why it was closed a few years ago by the hygiene services.

06/04/2024: Decent meal. It is kind of japanese inspired menu but let’s face reality this is not japanese cuisine but then again I doubt there is real japanese cuisine in France.
The meal was pleasant and not overly pricey.
Service was fast and efficient, that was really appreciated

31/03/2024: It's been twice in one month that I have been very poorly received by a male employee of this establishment, who is unpleasant, bordering on aggressive.
Once alone and once with a friend.
I share my opinion perhaps other people are in my situation.
It's a shame because I liked this establishment.
I would definitely go back with my husband maybe I would be better received.
09/03/2024: TooGoodToGo purchase, 3 baskets of €7 for the equivalent of €21 each:
-3 poor makis/sushis fighting a duel
-we ask for soy sauce for sushi, we are refused
-same for chopsticks, we should eat with our fingers for them
-redirected 3x in the store because they do not communicate with each other
-we come to collect orders but we still have the impression of extorting the sellers
-cabbage salad without sauce
-cold box of rice
I really don't recommend it, and the food is of poor quality.
Run away!!!

27/03/2024: The best Japanese restaurant in the region (Aix Marseille Vitrolles triangle). The products are always fresh and you can feel it in the quality and flavors.
And then the service is fast and always at the top, frankly a real pleasure in all simplicity.

03/04/2024: Good and well prepared rice, the fish is fantastic: you can feel that it is fresh and well prepared. Recommended for those who want to eat some sushi in Marseille. The only negative note is the amount of rice that is in both the nigiri and the uramaki. I absolutely recommend taking the sashimi given the freshness of the fish

03/04/2024: It's one of our favorite restaurants since we moved to Marseille. Always impeccable welcome and service, tastefully decorated room, attentive hostess and excellent cuisine. Everything is always fresh and the menu is renewed. For us this restaurant is at the top!

27/03/2024: I received 4 takoyaki and Kirin beer. It was 10.6 euros. The price of takoyaki has gone up by about 0.6 euros, but it's amazing that they haven't raised the price in 10 years. I spoke with the owner and learned that the bonito flakes and green seaweed are imported from Japan, and they have a nice aroma, making them authentic takoyaki. The interior of the store is filled with Japanese cultural decorations and is worth seeing. The other chef is half Spanish and half Moroccan, and can speak Japanese. It was lunch time and the place was full, including the terrace, so I refrained from ordering kakuni or ramen.
26/03/2024: Favorite restaurant in Marseille!! Amazing food, amazing service!! Must have the cheese takoyaki and the matcha tiramisu !! Thank you for such a great time! Will be back!

06/04/2024: The happy sushi box has lost a lot of quality. We ordered it last Wednesday and were very disappointed. The sushi was falling apart, had very little taste and there are now chicken sushi, which illustrates this decline in quality.
03/04/2024: It is often very good but the order often contains errors which are sometimes annoying but not serious, however when you leave a comment concerning allergies it can be serious so I put a warning to check the order carefully before consuming
