30/12/2025: An absolutely perfect experience from start to finish! I ate with a friend and we were both very satisfied.
The welcome is warm and professional; you immediately feel at ease. The dishes are delicious, prepared with quality ingredients and presented with care. Every bite is a true pleasure; the flavors are perfectly balanced.
The service is attentive without being intrusive, with a smiling and helpful team. Excellent value for money for a place I recommend without hesitation. I will definitely be back!

22/03/2026: Booked two weeks in advance for a friend's birthday, extremely disappointed. We arrived at an establishment that pretends to be a restaurant, and upon arrival, we were told that the kitchen was closed but that we could still order tapas. The atmosphere was already very strange; the table was reserved, yet some seats were dirty (including mine) and unprepared; my glass was full of breadcrumbs. The waiter, instead of politely asking my neighbor to get up and put the rug back in place, lifted his chair while he was sitting on it, inadvertently hurting him in the process. In his impatience, he ended up with a bruise on his arm. After an interminable wait, while we were all starving, the so-called tapas platters finally arrived, and they were truly pathetic. €70 for a platter that I'm almost certain wasn't even worth €15—I find that shameful. With this platter, we were served bread as hard as a rock. Paying was just as interminable; they made it perfectly clear we were inconvenienced because there were so many of us and we were blocking the way, but we waited ages before they even acknowledged us. The atmosphere was frankly anxiety-inducing, in my opinion. If you go, I hope you have the palate of a Doberman and that you're not claustrophobic.

13/04/2026: Absolutely fantastic at Grey Sushi! The sushi was incredibly fresh, a real treat! Special mention to Léane, who was super friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it.
17/03/2026: For my birthday, I ordered from Grey Sushi using their click and collect service, and honestly, it was a complete success.
I don't know if it was the owner, but the welcome was very pleasant, friendly, and professional, and I was served quickly, which is ideal when picking up a sushi takeout order. Everything was smooth, efficient, and well-organized because it was super fast.
The restaurant is impeccably clean, which immediately inspired confidence. The products are fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. An excellent option for treating yourself to a birthday meal, even for takeout.
I ordered the Grey Sushi salmon and the Grey Sushi salmon and cheese.
A major plus: the location is incredibly convenient, just steps from La Rotonde, if you're in the neighborhood like me and looking for quality sushi in Aix-en-Provence without wasting time.
Grey Sushi is my new go-to for efficient click and collect, sushi to go, a clean Japanese restaurant, and excellent customer service with a warm welcome.
I don't know why there are such negative comments because that wasn't my experience at all.
My guests were delighted with the maki sushi. I highly recommend it for a birthday, a spontaneous dinner, or simply to treat yourself with friends!

What a disappointment!!
Fried sushi... In my opinion fried several times... It was so inedible...
The tacos were all soft...
Fondant cheese... Without cheese...
I will no longer order there.

09/12/2025: They post fake reviews to boost their Google rating—unbelievable!!! Look at all the negative reviews! If only I'd known... I ordered a Dragon Terre Mère (Mother Earth) for €16 via Uber Eats, and it arrived decomposed. The person on the phone couldn't do anything and blamed the delivery driver, even though our entire order was perfect. It's dishonest, and the taste of our whole order wasn't anything special. Delivery took an hour for a Dragon Terre Mère, four spring rolls, and a pad thai.
The driver had to wait 30 minutes at the address because they called him too early.
I absolutely do not recommend them!!! And on top of that, self-reflection isn't their strong suit 😅
30/10/2025: My girlfriend and I came to this restaurant before going to the cinema next door. We wanted to grab a bite before our movie and avoid fast food; we prefer to support small businesses. When we entered the restaurant, there were only two other customers. The atmosphere was cold. The woman asked us to take the menus and said she'd be right back to take our order. The two of us placed a €30 order for sushi and skewers, which we planned to share.
The woman told us that we didn't come to a restaurant for a €30 meal. Being an entrepreneur, I can understand if the restaurant is full, but that wasn't the case. So, unfortunately, we ended up at Burger King. It's a shame for this small restaurant that doesn't seem to understand or prioritize customer service.

12/01/2026: Avoid this place at all costs! Cockroaches everywhere, on the floor and even on the air conditioner, I felt like throwing up. Don't go there again! I called the waitress over, she claimed to be shocked, but she showed me the bill. I said there was no way I was paying, she wasn't happy at all!! But she did accept that I wouldn't pay.
12/01/2026: We left in a hurry after spotting cockroaches on the roof of our table. Once we saw them, we called someone from the restaurant. The waitress who arrived acted shocked, and all she said was, "I'll move you." I told her, "No way, I'm not eating anymore, have a good evening." I paid for my drinks and left. I strongly advise against this restaurant with its unpleasant staff. 👍🏼

Contrary to some previous reviews, the place is clean and has a very large room that also allows for a quieter setting if desired.
The food selection is varied and the staff is very friendly.

19/03/2026: Avoid at all costs!
After reserving 9 surprise baskets on Too Good To Go for pickup starting at 7:00 PM, I arrived around 7:25 PM and was told I had to wait 15 minutes.
People who arrived after me to pick up Too Good To Go baskets were served before me.
At 8:00 AM, I was still waiting. It took 40 minutes to give me a bag with 9 small boxes of mini sushi.
And to top it all off, all 9 boxes were the same: tuna only, no avocado, cucumber, etc.
While I was waiting, I could see the kitchen staff sitting at a table.
I asked for chopsticks, and they told me they don't provide chopsticks with Too Good To Go. It's a real shame, I often order from this site at other places, especially sushi restaurants, and I've never had to wait. The opening hours are always respected, the sushi selection is varied, and chopsticks are free.
However, what I did appreciate was that everything was given to us in a large bag, perhaps so we wouldn't notice that all the baskets were the same.
I think it's a bit much to pay €45 for Too Good To Go, especially to avoid waste.
08/03/2026: I wish to report a problem regarding a phone call I made today. The person I spoke to was very arrogant and disrespectful. They didn't give me a chance to speak and hung up on me.
I find this behavior unacceptable, especially when calling for help, information, or to place a phone order. I would like this situation to be addressed and a solution found to prevent this type of behavior from happening again.
Aside from that, their sushi is very good. The staff at the store are very respectful and kind. I really like their sushi.

17/04/2026: This fast-food place is a horror, filthy... 🫣Given the state of the public areas, I shudder to think what the kitchens and storage areas are like... What are the health inspectors doing to address this? And who's in charge?
15/04/2026: We arrived at 9:15 PM on a Wednesday, and all the self-service kiosks inside were closed. We approached the counter to calmly ask why, and were told, "I think it's closed." We pointed out that it was only 9:15 PM... no response. They calmly resumed their service at the drive-thru... only to finally tell us to go to the drive-thru. So we went to the drive-thru, kiosk 1 closed, kiosk 2 closed... I don't understand how they can be so unpleasant to customers, give them incorrect information, and close a restaurant at 9:15 PM when their schedule states closing time (weekdays) as 10 PM for the dining room and 2 AM for the drive-thru. I've never seen anything like it at a McDonald's, it's unbelievable!

29/08/2024: Magnifique décoration, décor sobre et épuré, très bon accueil de la part de tout le personnel, carte un peu chère mais très bons produits. Nous avons testé les "pizzas" japonaises et nous nous sommes régalés car c'était une découverte. Les assiettes étaient copieuses et les produits frais. Les boissons étaient très légères et agréables. Le patron était sympathique. Nous recommandons cet établissement.

Excellent Ramen and Haramaki.
Desserts from Depuichaffray way too expensive. I know the price of these pastries in their pastry shop and in their tea room. At Yoj, it’s almost double. This is what pushes me to remove a star.
