02/04/2024: A no-frills place with neat decoration, friendly and attentive service without overdoing it, and the entire cuisine is top notch, I recommend booking or coming early because it fills up quickly and the kimchi is very, very good .

The server is friendly
However, it would be wise to review the wine list => not enough choice for wine by the glass (2 references and not necessarily quality), no half bottle and the list is quite high in prices
The food is of good quality (apart from the rice which I found too dry)
Once again the prices are a little too high => €19 for a plate of beef gîte cut into thin slices, I find it quite excessive even if it is of good quality.
The desserts were very good... apart from the nougat which doesn't make any real difference from those bought in Asian shops.
In short, we might not go back despite some good points.

03/04/2024: very nice place, their yakisoba is delicious!
01/04/2024: We ordered Yakisoba and Chachu ramen. The Yakisoba plate was enough, and I liked the taste. It is a very reasonable price and has a great atmosphere, like an authentic ramen shop in Japan. We went there around 18:00, with only a few guests inside. Good to stop by for a quick dinner.

01/11/2023: A resident of the neighborhood, 1001 Sushi is a perfect restaurant for simple and effective Japanese cuisine at a truly affordable price. The service is always satisfactory, helpful and very cheerful! The menus are very varied (special mention at N2) and always tasty. Thank you for delighting us with each order :)

02/04/2024: Having a night bus to catch I went to this restaurant to have dinner and wait for my bus! The staff is very pleasant, efficient and very cheerful! I had an exceptional dinner! Excellent from start to finish! I really enjoyed it! The soup was delicious, the dish excellent and for dessert I listened to the recommendation of the chocolate mochi which is a DELIGHT! Thank you for this moment, I will come back occasionally! Very unexpected for a restaurant near a train station! 🚉🫶🏽
31/03/2024: Frozen ravioli!
The sushi is good but it's pretty stingy.
I order two different sushi menus, I only get one set of sauce/ginger/wasabi.
And for the ravioli you have to pay for the soy sauce extra.
Never seen this anywhere else.

02/04/2024: Really disappointed and sad that this establishment has taken the direction of profitability to the detriment of quality. I have been a regular customer for 5 years and the more time passes, the more the quality declines. Less sauce, less quantity, fewer vegetables, less crispy chicken... On the other hand, the price went up quite a bit. I no longer recommend.
01/04/2024: The state of the food is terrible, it is in poor condition or contaminated, we were there on March 30 and the 3 friends who went ordered a ramen, hours later all 3 of us began to feel unwell, with vomiting, dizziness, stomach pains and head over heels... We spent the entire night in the hospital, until 7 in the morning, since it was poisoning from eating spoiled food, it is not good quality food, I do not recommend it at all.

02/03/2024: Absolutely superb. Excellent sashimi. Lovely host and chef. We were there on a Saturday eve and only other customers were take aways. This restaurant is well worth visiting if you want authentic Japanese food.

05/04/2024: Immersive setting, I loved the small starters to share, but the broth is quite bland in my opinion compared to other restaurants of the type in Bordeaux, that said it was still very good and I will come back with pleasure. Very friendly staff
29/03/2024: The cost of my food was 25 euros and I was charged on my credit card 35 euros, definitely due to the lack of trust to this restaurant I would not recommend it. Additionally the food was not very good.

It's not the best sushi in Bordeaux either, but the price and quality is pretty decent.
At lunchtime you have a menu at rather nice prices.
The service is fast

01/04/2024: Null. Ordered twice, not received twice. I indicate 8:30 p.m., the order is delivered at 6:00 p.m. and left outside in the rain. Unable to get a refund, incompetent team. Don't waste your money, move on.
13/02/2024: A very pleasant and professional team, the lady at reception was very welcoming. A deadline announced for picking up the order, and the dishes were very good. I recommend 🌟

10/03/2024: I just managed to finish what I won't even call sushi.
I never post opinions but the serious thing is making fun of people. I'll give a review if I'm sick but the rice was way overcooked so everything was mushy and seriously, the mole shrimp tempura like never before?! Serious. As I write this, my stomach starts to hurt. Worst sushi of my life. However, I remember taking a seat at St Augustin and it was expensive but really good. Was there a glitch in the matrix or what?! I do not believe it !
