11/04/2026: What can I say about this izakaya restaurant… A gem in Toulouse, a culinary haven celebrating Japan! The meal was delicious, the service was top-notch, with smiles all around, and the sake menu was perfect—I ordered it warm, and it was a real treat. I highly recommend it! ❤️

06/04/2026: Good atmosphere in the restaurant, a good choice of dishes but some are less successful than others.

28/08/2026: So, it's good, even very good in some cases (the Périgord pork skewers were delicious). There's no doubt that everything is homemade. Everything is extremely fresh. Which brings me to the main issue: the chef is alone in the kitchen and the dining room, so you'd better not be in a hurry! One starter, one main course, 2.5 hours. Okay, we hadn't made a reservation, but there were only two other people when we arrived at 7:30 pm! The dining room is a bit dated (paint with drips, light fixtures coming loose from the ceiling). As for the prices, €8 for miso soup, €17 for three skewers with white rice—I'll let you be the judge.

21/08/2026: An authentic Japanese restaurant with handmade maki rolls at very reasonable prices. The chef was attentive and very funny. We had lunch on the small terrace at the back of the restaurant, surrounded by greenery and koi ponds. I highly recommend it.

13/08/2026: A fantastic place! 🍣 At Makesuchi, the food is truly excellent, the welcome is warm, and the atmosphere is super pleasant. We enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end! The sushi was so good that I almost ordered a second helping… and my stomach said yes 😂. A friendly team, a great atmosphere, and above all, delicious food. I highly recommend it, but not for too long, or you'll miss out on the sushi! 😋🍣

07/09/2026: We often order from Sushi Shop. The maki rolls were definitely not fresh. They tasted bad, the avocado was completely discolored, and the rice was dry.

05/09/2026: I ordered shrimp and tuna sushi for delivery, this is what I received. 0 stars. This restaurant should be banned, it's a complete joke.

31/07/2026: We went for dinner and it was very good! We ended up very full paying €20 per person. The eggplant pinxo is highly recommended!

30/06/2026: Lukewarm rice, fish not very fresh (strong smell and taste). The waiter tried to charge me for a Coke I didn't drink... expensive for the quality.

27/06/2026: Second visit. The first time: okay. The second time, very disappointed. The entrance door scrapes the floor, creating a very unpleasant noise throughout the meal, and everyone in the dining room was complaining. We sat down at the same time as two other tables and had to wait an interminable amount of time before the waiter took our order; in fact, the other two tables had already been served. The restaurant has a large takeaway business, and that's clearly their priority, so dine-in service comes second. The restaurant is air-conditioned, but you barely notice it. And finally, it's definitely not cheap for what you get. For example, a tuna bowl cost €18 for 5 or 6 slices of tuna, an avocado, and rice... In short, this will be my second and last time. There are better and much cheaper options in the city center.

27/08/2026: We went yesterday for dinner and it was closed. Per the announcement outside of the restaurant, they were closed between 2 Aug-2 Sep. Would have been good to change google page accordingly. Curious if those recent comments are genuine.

02/09/2026: This is a blatant marketing ploy on social media to promote a "closure for renovations" when the restaurant was actually closed following a health inspection. That's it, I'm never going back!

06/09/2026: The donburi wasn't very good and was too spicy, and the other dish with red carrot and cooked vegetables wasn't either. The waitress wasn't friendly and told me she wasn't working while she was taking a break in the middle of the restaurant surrounded by customers. I threw everything away... Luckily it was free, lol.

03/09/2026: The sushi wasn't fresh enough, and there was a 1.5-hour wait for delivery.

01/04/2026: A friend's cafe. It's located in a quiet area. They offer a daily lunch special using organic ingredients. I also love their matcha cheesecake for dessert. The staff are friendly and approachable.

27/02/2026: Excellent Japanese restaurant, just like in Japan. Delicious homemade dishes bursting with flavor. A limited menu, but everything is expertly prepared. The teas are very good. Takeout is available. A wonderful find. Reservations are recommended as it fills up quickly at lunchtime on weekdays.
