04/07/2026: Another visit to Soleil Levant in Lyon's 3rd arrondissement, at 204 rue Garibaldi, and just as delightful as ever. This restaurant is a true Lyon institution, and for good reason. You're always greeted with a smile by the chef and his wife, who put their heart and soul into their work. This time, I chose the Évasion menu: delicious gyoza as a starter, incredibly fresh sashimi as a main course with traditional Miso Shiru soup, and then three scoops of sorbet (mango, lemon, and coconut), the perfect way to finish this excellent meal. As with every visit, the ingredients are fresh, the dishes are prepared with care, and the flavors are exceptional. It's always a pleasure to return to this iconic restaurant. If you're in Lyon this summer, don't miss this must-try. Whether you're a local or a tourist, you'll discover authentic Japanese cuisine, prepared with passion, in a warm and inviting atmosphere. 22/05/2026: I go to this restaurant regularly and I'm never disappointed. The welcome is always warm, the quality of the food is consistently high (the fish is always very fresh), the atmosphere is cozy, and the service is quite fast. I highly recommend it.

18/05/2026: A reliable choice for years, serving fresh and generous portions of sushi. The service is always efficient and the decor is lovely, both in the restaurant itself and on the plate if you dine in. Their pink salmon-avocado-cheese maki are the best of their kind I've ever had.

26/05/2026: We discovered this place thanks to The Fork, and we weren't disappointed at all! The meal was delicious, we really loved it! Finally, maki and sushi with rice that wasn't dry and wasn't oversized compared to the amount of fish. Everything was just right for us ✨️ The waitresses were friendly and the atmosphere was calm enough to feel comfortable. We'll definitely be back :)

12/05/2026: After several visits to Yoki, I'm never disappointed. I haven't tried the entire menu yet (it would take a lifetime!), but from what little I've tasted, everything has been delicious, well-seasoned, and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The selection is varied, there's something for everyone, and the staff is incredibly friendly with very fast service. The restaurant itself is very elegant and clean. My favorite set menus? The M11 and the C7, with the coconut pearls for dessert!
