09/05/2026: What a pleasant surprise this Japanese restaurant was! A warm welcome and cheerful atmosphere from the waitress upon arrival, followed by generous and delicious food... It had been a long time since I'd eaten such good maki (fresh, generously filled, and delicious...kudos to the chef!). Even the miso soup was far better than what we often get in Japanese restaurants. It's worth noting that everything was served with a small welcome cocktail! In short, if you're passing through Rouen like I was, or if you live there...go for it!

18/05/2026: Ordered California rolls with salmon today and here's the "salmon" inside... it's so small I had trouble picking it up with my chopsticks? So we pay so much for this portion of salmon? It's almost insulting.

24/05/2026: Passing through Le Havre for the Ascension weekend, we discovered this place thanks to Google reviews. We didn't let the few negative ones put us off. And we're so glad we did!
Okay, the wait was a bit long (but that's the case in any Japanese restaurant—proof that the sushi is fresh and made right there in the kitchen, because it takes time to prepare it).
All the dishes we chose were DELICIOUS! Without a doubt, one of the best Japanese restaurants we've ever been to.
The fish was incredibly fresh.
And the prices were significantly lower than in the Paris region.
And we were very comfortable with our large family.
We'll definitely be back if we return to your area.
19/05/2026: After three years in Le Havre and many meals at Miyaki, this is the last time I'll be eating there for a while...
I've never been disappointed, whether in terms of quality, quantity, service, or the restaurant's atmosphere.
Even with takeout orders, I've never had any problems whatsoever. The 10% discount is also a great deal!
The only downside is that the menu is updated using stickers or handwritten text, which sometimes makes it less clear and less visually appealing.
I highly recommend it; the portions are generous and the prices are reasonable!

01/05/2026: If youre looking for good sushi this NOT the place. If youre desperate for expensive rice...go for it. Went twice because anyone can have a bad day and was left DISAPOINTED both visits. Their sushi offerings are limited to cheese salmon or tuna... side note: the tuna looks and tastes like it came out of a can. Wife had noodles and they were better than the sushi. Seems to be a few guys running the place making fun of their customers when they think the customer doesn't understand or hear them. Server decided to make joke at our expense since we were not able to speak french well enough but we were really trying. Baaed on taste alone..NOT WORTH THE MONEY OR TIME...better options are available.

04/04/2026: Taiwanese people should absolutely not eat here. This is absolutely the worst Japanese food I've ever had. Not only was the sushi haphazardly wrapped and misshapen, but the fish pieces were also extremely small, and there was only one plate of sashimi (and the fish pieces were tiny). The salad bar looked terrible and tasted very stale. The conveyor belt sushi plates were simply reused and new sushi was placed on them, showing a complete lack of hygiene. The fish was poorly prepared; the salmon had scales that hadn't been properly removed, and I even bit into a bone.
04/04/2026: The welcome was adequate.
But the all-you-can-eat buffet food was all-food, processed, and cold; only the sushi and maki were decent. The seating was uncomfortable, with very low chairs.
The price was €45 for two people, including a bottle of sparkling water.
Nothing like a real Japanese restaurant.
In short, once but not twice.

01/12/2025: We ordered through Uber Eats.
Once the order and payment were complete, I immediately noticed an error in the restaurant's address. I didn't have the option to cancel or modify the order through the app.
So I called the restaurant. The person I spoke to told me it wouldn't be possible to cancel because they had too many orders and it would take too long to go to the kitchen and search using my name. Then the manager took the phone and tried to explain why my order couldn't be canceled. I confess I didn't understand any of the explanations. It was impossible to communicate with this person, who was clearly more frustrated by the situation than I was.
We regret having experienced this ridiculous and unprofessional behavior.
