Every month, my wife and I treat ourselves to a restaurant outing to unwind from the daily grind (work, children). After trying all the restaurants in Saint-Claude, this is the one we've chosen for our regular meals.
The menu changes regularly, and the dishes are always of high quality. Regarding the prices, I don't understand the negative reviews: in our opinion, the value for money is entirely justified. For two people, the bill never exceeds €100, considering the quality of the food.
It's important to remember that these prices include the work of the servers and cooks, overhead costs, and the quality of the ingredients.
Finally, the service is always impeccable: we have consistently been warmly welcomed and served with professionalism and a smile.

Quick and efficient service, friendly atmosphere.
Suggestion for improvement: homemade vinaigrette would be appreciated for the salad.
23/09/2025: Family restaurant with average service and very average quality. We came here twice in September and won't be back again. We were quickly directed to the limited daily specials and still no credit card payment (it would have fallen off!)...
Disappointing.
I rarely give an average rating, but it's well-deserved.

We also had a very good meal at the restaurant. We recommend this place.
06/01/2026: How could this establishment have earned its third star? A mistake in room assignment: a superior room on the second basement level, no elevator, questionable cleanliness (hair, dust bunnies, moldy grout...), broken towel warmer, broken ventilation system, broken bedside lamp, windows that don't lock, a sagging mattress, and a sagging shower tray (a first...). Only three positive points: the friendliness of the staff, the size of the room, and the ease of parking nearby.

26/01/2026: It doesn't open on time; we wait outside and nobody comes to open the door or even say a word to explain why it's not open… They just give us stupid looks 🤷🏼♀️ (I should mention that it opens at 10:30 am and it was 10:50 am). The dining area is often very dirty, there's rarely any heating inside, and the staff isn't pleasant at all (except for one or two exceptions). Ugh, everything needs to be reviewed…

22/10/2023: Honestly, nothing to say. Booking 2 nights for a romantic weekend, the boss carried out the request I had made to him in terms of room decoration. The restaurant is great, we ate very well there. Good and delicious. The staff is attentive, friendly, welcoming....
Very generous breakfast.

14/12/2024: Les avis des internautes nous ont amenées à pousser les portes de ce restaurant. Tout était là METS RAFFINÉS accueil CHALEUREUX les propriétaires sont enclins à la rencontre et au partage dans une ambiance cocooning
Un GRAND MERCI à eux pour ces belles qualités.
26/10/2024: Une très agréable surprise. Excellent restaurant à Saint Claude. Accueil très sympathique. Plats aussi bons que beau avec des produits de qualité. Parfait.
