Txupinazo
Dax
20/07/2026: The servers were very pleasant, smiling, and attentive, adapting to our requests. Good prices and a great location! We watched the World Cup final there yesterday, and despite the crowd, they were impeccable! The only slight downside was that our mussel pintxo was good but too small for the price, and the mussels were very small. I still recommend it, though! It was right next to our hotel 😊
19/07/2026: High prices for what you get. €5 for four sandwiches with a small chocolate bowl. €40 for a charcuterie board for "four" with hardly anything on it. It used to be a good, nice place, but unfortunately, it's changed a lot.

Pizza Toto
Dax
23/11/2025: The owners and staff are very friendly. The best pizzas in Dax if you like thin crust. Short delivery wait time.
Go there at least to see if I'm right!

Bar Mares
Dax
31/07/2026: There were 11 of us, and we were served very quickly. Everything was excellent! From the main course to the dessert and the coffee (which was also very good). The staff were super friendly too. Highly recommended, especially since the prices are very reasonable!
28/07/2026: Finally, unpretentious, homemade cuisine that is therefore very tasty... with a quality/price ratio that is too rare not to be particularly highlighted... highly recommended!

Pizzeria Restaurant San Pietro
Dax
05/09/2026: Takeaway order, a little disappointed with the presentation of the queen mushrooms (3 mushrooms).
29/08/2026: The pizzas, pasta, profiteroles, and tiramisu were delicious. We weren't the only ones who felt that way; the place was packed!

Le Challenge
Dax
12/08/2026: I absolutely do not recommend this place. The owner is unpleasant; he threw me out even though I had a meal at his establishment. Run away as fast as you can!!!
09/06/2026: No complaints, very welcoming.
Excellent meals, whether in the cafeteria or as part of a set menu.

Le Secreto
Dax
07/08/2026: We would have liked to try the cocktails, but after waiting 15 minutes, I went to the bar to order. I was told someone would come over. 15 minutes later, still nothing. Yet the terrace wasn't even full. We left empty-handed, after sitting across from you for 30 minutes!
03/08/2026: A top-notch establishment, the owner is very friendly.

Hotel ibis Styles Restaurant
Dax
09/03/2026: Excellent service.
Professional staff.
The only downside is the rather difficult and often far-flung parking, which is otherwise paid.
04/03/2026: Apart from the friendliness at reception… the hotel is from another era, and as for breakfast…

O Marcat
Dax
29/08/2026: The welcome and service were more than up to par at this bistro next to the market on Saturday morning.
I had duck breast with fries and a glass of wine. It was excellent, I have no other word for it. Okay, I'll try another: succulent.
The food is unpretentious but premium in its execution; honestly, I thoroughly enjoyed it, hence this very enthusiastic review.
29/07/2026: Located next to the market hall, we were seated on a lovely terrace. The meals were generous and delicious. The staff was very energetic and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

01/08/2026: Great place
Very good
I recommend it
23/07/2026: I am a young retiree and I would love to eat at this fabulous Crok restaurant in Dax.
However, in 2022 I posted some silly things and I apologize. I would like to know if a discussion is possible. I am at your disposal.

Creperie d'Y
Dax
08/08/2026: When you ask a simple question and the person on the other end of the line gives you a stupid answer... you immediately don't want to go there. A complete failure in terms of customer service.
06/08/2026: A lovely owner, attentive service, generous portions, and excellent value for money: you absolutely must try the gourmet salad, it's a sure thing! We'll definitely be back, and thank you to the whole team!
