We were tempted by Caroline's suggestions: salmon tartare with gazpacho coulis, then crispy pulled pork with homemade BBQ sauce, and for dessert, red berry and speculoos cheesecake 😁😍☺️. We thoroughly enjoyed it; it was fantastic, thank you so much. 04/09/2026: A truly wonderful culinary discovery! We went twice in one week, mainly for the baby squid with parsley and garlic, and an exquisite monkfish with chorizo! But all the dishes are excellent, and the service is impeccable and attentive. We wholeheartedly recommend this establishment.

27/08/2026: Following a recommendation, we had lunch at this establishment and we weren't disappointed! It was incredibly good. Excellent value for money. The duck breast and foie gras dish was a real treat.

12/09/2026: The restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside, but once you step inside, you're immersed in the world of bullfighting. The food is excellent, the portions generous. You leave feeling completely satisfied.

26/08/2026: El Piquero was recommended to us by friends, as we had limited time on the first day of the feria. The welcome and the service staff were friendly and pleasant. We ordered cod on a bed of piperade, with an egg and a small gratin, all on the same plate. The fish was cooked perfectly, and the piperade was flavorful without being too salty or spicy. It's a family-run restaurant; without the recommendation, we might not have gone in. So don't hesitate, you can walk in and enjoy a hearty meal. The decor is a bit kitschy, but that's also part of the restaurant's charm. We'll gladly return.

08/09/2026: A small, friendly, and welcoming restaurant. Tonight's menu included mussels marinière with fries and butcher's cut with fries. It was very good and generous portions, not to mention the quick service provided by Karine, who was very smiley and warm. A very pleasant experience.

23/08/2026: Our favorite restaurant in Dax. Excellent and varied cuisine, very welcoming and attentive staff, friendly and courteous atmosphere, very good value for money. We've been coming here for several years and again today for a family celebration. See you soon!

23/08/2026: The place is simply lovely, from the terrace at the foot of the hot spring to the table settings, with their cloth tablecloths and napkins. The service is impeccable, with great attention to the customers. The only downside is the food. I was disappointed with the seafood salad 🙄. You expect a beautiful salad with seafood, but there was nothing of the sort. A small bed of salad with a shrimp, a whelk, and a bland, tasteless fish pastry! What a shame, it ruined everything else. The food needs to be reviewed in terms of presentation, taste, quantity, and price.

02/07/2026: Far enough from the road to fully enjoy the pleasant terrace, reasonable prices, and friendly, welcoming service. They have triple Carmelite beer on tap, which is very rare in a brasserie.
