26/07/2026: A lovely spot nestled among the pine trees of Hossegor, with a southwest-style ambiance. The beer menu is extensive, but the manager doesn't offer high street wines, which is a bit of a shame, hence the 4 stars.

25/07/2026: Scum. A rape victim (convicted in court) asked the bar to remove her attacker, who was present despite having a verifiable conviction and a restraining order prohibiting him from being near the victim. The bar preferred to ask the victim to leave and protect the attacker, who also pulled out a knife during the incident. Then they washed their hands of it, claiming they didn't know the victim and that the man was an acquaintance. Disgusting, sickening. You won't be getting my money again.

28/06/2026: There were three of us, and we arrived and were able to get a seat because there was plenty of room both inside and outside. We ate quite well! Everything was generally very tasty, except for the Caesar salad, which was just okay. I wouldn't order it again. They generally give you free tap water throughout France. The other two dishes my companions ordered were very tasty and substantial. As for the price, it was normal for the area; you can't expect much less for a meal. The atmosphere was relaxed, and we were able to go in and eat even though it was quite late, almost 3:00 PM, and they were about to close the kitchen. The waitress spoke to the chef and told us we could eat, that we were still within the time limit. It was a nice gesture on her part since we were the only ones there, and another table was about to pay. We really appreciated it! Overall, the experience was very good. It has a fairly large terrace, which is very pleasant if it's not unbearably hot like when we were there. If you're going to the nearby outlets, it's a good place to sit and eat. Although there are plenty of food options in the area, after doing some research on Google we decided this was the best choice, and it definitely was!

16/05/2026: The service was appalling. It was pouring rain, freezing cold, we were on a cycling trip, and we wanted to eat. The tarpaulin covering the outdoor tables was leaking everywhere. We wanted to put our bikes at the edge of the tarpaulin to protect them from the rain. A woman came out to tell us to remove them because it was detracting from the restaurant's image and might attract other cyclists who would bother the customers (given the weather, there weren't many other cyclists around to do their shopping!). Given the lack of compassion and kindness, we went elsewhere where we received a very warm welcome.

10/03/2026: ⛳️ A magnificent, manicured course, a pro shop with a great collection of branded merchandise, and excellent service since the takeover (Ataula). Beyond that, and having played at the club for almost 20 years, I can attest that the facilities are very well maintained and the driving range is easily accessible and clean. Members should note the very well-organized chipping area at the rear of the driving range. But that's not all; beyond its rich history, Hossegor Golf Club excels in team sports, is developing a top-tier golf academy (some of whose players go on to play in the USA), and knows how to innovate, as evidenced by its recent partnership with Victor Dubuisson 👏. It's a great place to feel at home, a place to meet up with fellow golfers and friends for a drink or lunch on the weekend. And of course, to enjoy the course ⛳️

30/07/2026: So... How to put it... The reception staff clearly need some sales training. The hotel staff and housekeepers are superbly trained, which is a real pleasure 😊. The pool is large and clean, and the common areas are worthy of a 3-star hotel, which it is. However, when you're quoted the price of a Mercure (€350) per night in July or August without breakfast, you don't expect to find mold in the bathrooms (photos attached). Another comment for the owners: when a guest spends over €1700 for two nights full board in two rooms with extras, charging €1 for a yogurt for a 77-year-old woman who was feeling unwell is unprofessional. At checkout, not even a simple question about how the stay went... At that price, it's a shame... But I hope future guests who read this post will be better informed than I am.

02/07/2026: Excellent food. Fast service. Welcoming and helpful staff. Special mention for the sea bream en papillote with chimichurri sauce... and the Malaysian prawns.

05/04/2026: A simple and practical hotel. It's located on the lake shore where there are various activities. We stayed in a quadruple room, with the bathroom, double bed, and terrace downstairs, and two single beds upstairs. Everything was perfectly adequate.

29/03/2026: The hotel is very well located on the lakefront and close to the ocean beaches. The room was very comfortable with a king-size bed (180 cm) and a single bed (90 cm). The separate toilet and shower room were in excellent condition. The balcony overlooked the lake and was furnished with a small table and two chairs for admiring the scenery. The staff was excellent, the restaurant was lovely, and the dinner and breakfast were very good (generous portions, both sweet and savory). The price was reasonable considering the quality of the service. A place to remember.

07/07/2026: The mussels and mushrooms in Basque sauce with Espelette pepper were delicious 😋, very friendly service

07/07/2026: Aunt Jeanne must be turning in her grave! The table was completely wobbly. The table was cleared without a word. No one came to tell us that we ordered at the bar. We had to ask for a wipe down, a basic courtesy of a waiter. At the bar, several waiters were staring at each other with a look of "what am I doing here?" motivation. We were called to take our order... Once seated, we had to go back to the bar because there was only one spoon for three people. There were no napkins, no water carafe, and no glasses, which we had to ask for again at the bar. As for the food, it was all mass-produced... A terrible experience, avoid it.

23/07/2026: We ordered mussels and fries with Roquefort cheese. The mussels with Roquefort sauce were both good. However, the fries were not homemade and there wasn't a large portion. The service, however, needs improvement. My partner paid by card at the table. He barely said thank you (without even having time to ask for the receipt) before the waitress had already gone to check on a neighboring table… unheard of! Very rushed, we realized…
