07/09/2026: Being new to Saint-Étienne, I've rarely encountered such warm and friendly staff. I've been coming to Nota with my mother for several months now, and we absolutely love it! The servers are lovely, always smiling and welcoming. A special mention goes to Fatima in the kitchen for her incredible kindness, her big smile, and her absolutely delicious daily specials. I've rarely eaten such flavorful food! A big thank you to the whole team, and for your hospitality! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

06/09/2026: Two waitresses who clearly don't know what they're doing, you wait for hours, and when you're finished they prefer to go smoke on their phones while you wait. So you have to flag them down to order two coffees, and on top of that, they don't even clear your plates. Terrible service. Awful service.

07/10/2026: The welcome was very pleasant in this small, multicultural restaurant, a blend of Réunion, Caribbean, and African influences. The cocktail, served quickly, was beautifully presented and a lovely way to start the evening. The appetizer (a plate composed of various dishes: samosas, chili fritters, achard, accras, and Caribbean blood sausage) was delicious! The main course, featuring a special red bean dish, was a real treat! It brought out all the flavors of the dish. The coconut blancmange, although a little sweet, surprised my taste buds (the jelly on top), but that won't stop me from ordering it again on my next visit. It was a refreshing and pleasant way to end this wonderful dinner.

12/07/2026: Great tea room, a wide selection of drinks, delicious homemade pastries. Very cozy interior and a lovely terrace. Excellent staff, friendly and efficient.

10/10/2026: V cute little pub right next to the canal with Guinness and a selection of craft beers that look to be curated with a couple of beer tanks over the bar. Not too much sport bs TV, more of a friendly little bar. Yay.

30/09/2026: The bar staff were nice, until we wanted to pay and were accused by the manager/owner of stealing a pepper shaker. After checking the camera footage, it turned out he had already left before we arrived, which is a real shame because the staff were otherwise nice and it was a pleasant spot to have a beer.

25/09/2026: As always, the dishes were refined and flavorful. The gyozas were particularly delicious and melted in your mouth. The sauces are homemade, nothing like the soy sauces you buy in stores. And of course, the sushi is a huge difference compared to typical "Asian" restaurants.

05/08/2026: Every time we walked past this restaurant, its authenticity made us want to go in, and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant is run by a Japanese couple, and this is evident in both the food and the decor, which transports you to Japan. We ordered the Daka menu with an extra soup, which was more than enough for two people (who weren't particularly hungry). The salad and its dressing were excellent, and the sushi and sashimi were generous, incredibly fresh, and the salmon and rice were of very high quality. A special mention goes to the homemade ice cream—a wonderful discovery! Reasonable prices for such quality.

26/07/2026: More and more empty units...business doesn't seem to be doing very well in this mall. Not much of interest apart from FNAC and New Yorker, which offers good prices, and a major problem finding a parking space on Saturdays...

24/07/2026: We were greeted by Océane and the very professional security team!

20/09/2026: Excellent Guinness, with a beautifully decorated head! It's a shame the manager isn't as friendly as his beers. At 2 PM, we were told off for not ordering all the Guinness at once, then asked to come back a second time to retrieve a forgotten jacket… In short, good beer, but the welcome and service need improvement.
