Meanwhile, others come in without problem, simply showing off or their regular status. Do you think you are a chic club in Lyon/Paris? Come down from your log, you are in Saint-Étienne.
See you soon... during your next liquidation. Sincerely.
PS: Flee this establishment which will bring you nothing. They pretend to be a 5-star place, but only let in regulars who just have a drink at the bar. Afterwards, it dares to whine about the “nightclub crisis”. You are the perfect caricature of what makes them sink. I will take all the time necessary to advise against your club to my customers and favor a real establishment worthy of the name.

13/12/2024: We privatized the top of Alsatian to celebrate our wedding and we were delighted, as were all the guests! The place is friendly and clean, the service was efficient even though there were also customers to serve downstairs, the employees are very pleasant and the food is super good! The manager followed what we asked to the letter and everything went very well. Since then, we have regularly come to eat with friends and it is a place that I highly recommend! Many thanks to you!

27/03/2026: Passing through the area, the wood-fired pizza was excellent, the service was perfect, the staff were kind and smiling, and a special mention to the lovely waitress who gave us great advice. I highly recommend it.

The only slight downside was that the carpaccio lacked seasoning.

31/03/2026: We regularly eat at the Auberge de Rochetaillée; it's become a ritual for us. The welcome is always top-notch, and the food is excellent.
We ate there on Sunday and were annoyed to hear comments directed at the owner.
A table for 40 people was there, criticizing her behavior, all over a gratin dish. They were awful to her.
Please know that the owner is a wonderful person who takes good care of her customers, and her waiter is kind. And kudos to the chef for his work!

That's why I don't understand why they were closed last night, February 7th, 2026.

30/12/2025: A surprise birthday party organized with the help of the Balafon team was wonderful! The staff were so dedicated and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The meal was truly excellent, the atmosphere incredible, the room lovely, we had a great time laughing and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Thank you to the whole team! We will happily return when we are in Saint-Étienne. 🎉👌👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🤗

My family introduced me to it, and it was a great find. The food was good, and I loved the conveyor belt concept where you choose what you want. I'll definitely come back to eat there.

We were impressed by the beautiful decor. The menu was good value for money, and the quality was excellent.
Suggestion: the young woman at the end of the shift should improve her vocabulary.

06/11/2025: Not enough space to write all the wonderful things that attract me to this bar and restaurant.
The staff, owner, cook... are always so kind and patient.
The chef always delights our taste buds; in fact, he's even managed to make me like things, but only if he's the one cooking them 😆.
We love our mother-daughter time together enjoying one of the things we love most in life. The food is truly perfect, the cooking and seasoning... EVERYTHING is perfect. I'd love to eat here every day. It's a shame you don't offer bed and breakfast; we'd definitely come, haha. We feel comfortable and not judged, and that's really important to us.
