18/09/2024: Nous avons voulu essayer en commandant une pizza pour la première fois. Car depuis le changement de propriétaire, je ne suis pas revenu. C’est un tort. La prochaine fois on viendra manger sincèrement la pizza que nous avons essayé. La pâte était très bonne bien garni. Ma fille a été bien reçue en allant la chercher tarif correct

01/09/2024: Delighted to have found this Italian restaurant where we ate excellent pizza and amazing ice cream. In addition, the rosé from Italy was refreshing and fruity. Only one small downside, the takeaway which slows down the service in the room but the manager's kind smile forced us to forget this point. In the end, congratulations, you are great people. When we return to Gien, we will have dinner at your place.

09/09/2024: Since the reopening, new decor, two dining islands so more choice, and a big new plancha in the center of each table, smiling and pleasant waitresses. Go there, I recommend 😃😃👍

06/09/2024: Le Boeuf d’Or is my favorite place to eat in Gien! The managers are super nice, the food is very good and the ideal place to have a good time with family, friends, or even alone!

22/09/2024: First of all: I have rarely felt as uncomfortable in a restaurant as I did yesterday in "Le Regency". The restaurant was empty except for one table with two people. According to the waitress, the table we chose was “reserved”. We were there late and of course no more guests came after us. So we shouldn't have the choice of a free table... The menu gave the impression that it had been unchanged for 20 years, was slightly dingy and had a design from the last millennium. In addition, the restaurant did not appear to be hygienically good. But in the end it's about the food. And this is where the real catastrophe emerges. The risotto was dry like a rice side dish, the scallops were warm, but I doubt whether they had experienced butter and a pan. The chicken was dry and the vegetables were very oily. I know such a review is not good for the restaurant. But I feel called upon to do this, especially because our criticism that evening wasn't well received by the waitress. She justifies herself by saying that "...Yes, other guests think everything is good." We really didn't like it and think you shouldn't spend your money there.

25/08/2024: Great experience in this restaurant which doesn't look like much. Very friendly and attentive waitress. Well prepared and very well presented dishes, you can feel that everything is fresh and homemade. Thank you very much for this pleasant moment on the banks of the Loire.

12/09/2024: I'm a regular at Buffalo Grill and I always get the same thing. Suffice to say that this restaurant is a good candidate for the title of worst Buffalo in France. Haughty waitress who doesn't do her job. Free salad served without the usual vegetables. The small square breads are not hot and hard, probably the lunchtime bread. So from the start the customer feels neglected. Then Veggi Burger very dry and the cheese not even melted. I send the dish back and put it in the microwave to melt the cheese, making the Burger inedible. He doesn't give us toys so the little one has to pick them up at the entrance. No service on the phone so restaurant not up to date in the branch. Had to ask twice to get something. Slow service even though there weren't many people. And to finish I had a brownie with ice cream which is usually very good. The brownie wasn't even heated, it was as cold as ice cream. Only positive point I had a steak the meat is fresh maybe a stroke of luck who knows. Negative point they don't know how to cook I asked rare. It was seared on the outside and raw on the inside so blue and not rare. In short, I don't recommend it.

11/09/2024: OK restaurant, the dishes are rather standard but good but the quantity of vegetables on the plate is really low. On the other hand, the service is great: fast, friendly, professional.
