15/06/2025: Excellent pizza and very reasonable prices. Honestly, we only get our pizzas from them now. I highly recommend it.
15/06/2025: I don't know what's best about Andiamo Pizza: the quality of the pizzas or the quality of the welcome. It almost makes you want to stay with the wonderful couple who run this pizzeria and have a drink with them.
I go out of my way to eat these excellent pizzas.
Because pizza is my passion.

17/12/2025: In every city in France, wherever you go, south or north, east or west, there's always that one place that stands out, a spot where you feel good, where you're comfortably seated, where the atmosphere is friendly, and where the food is excellent.
Well, in Gien, that's L'Antre Amis. Local produce, well-known and perfectly executed recipes, and efficient, well-organized service capable of effortlessly serving thirty people at a company lunch without any delays or cold dishes—a true delight.
And all this without forgetting the warm welcome, smiles, and kindness of Alice and Arthur, who are as busy managing the establishment as they are serving in the dining room, just like their staff.
Anyway, you can do as you please, but if I were you, I'd go check it out, just so you don't miss out 😉

03/07/2025: We booked for 20 people on Tuesday. It was very hot. We found ourselves split into two tables back to back with large club chairs in an unventilated room. The appetizers had barely been served and the starters had arrived, but the meal was excellent.
A shame, as it was not appreciated.

23/01/2026: Terrible delivery, and that's putting it mildly. Over an hour and a half away, even though we're only 4 km away. Three calls later, still no answer, the delivery guy has vanished, lol. When he finally arrived, everything was cold, beyond disappointing... It's a shame because their kebabs are good...
15/01/2026: Great idea to offer a perfectly slow-cooked daily special! Yesterday it was beef, peas, carrots, and potatoes. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender and the portion was huge. I loved it!

29/11/2025: Avoid at all costs! Disgusting, no exaggeration. Very few choices to boot. I had seen negative reviews but I tried it anyway and I can confirm, definitely avoid it.
02/11/2025: The restaurant was empty. Consequently, the buffet was also empty. There were some fries left that didn't even seem to know what they were doing there (they must have been left over from lunchtime). Very disappointed. I won't be going back.

26/09/2024: It's shameful, how can you receive customers in such a disgusting place... The women's toilets are filthy, the toilet paper is on the floor, the men's toilets have clogged toilets, the floor is full of urine.. . It's abusive to walk in piss! The trash cans are overflowing, the dishes are not collected which means that we end up with an overflowing trash can, dishes that are in balance and not to mention the dishes waiting on the next table... L The customer experience is miserable both in terms of hygiene and atmosphere. You can hear the kitchen staff shouting, singing, banging on the worktops even from the other side of the restaurant. In short, very bad experience, I do not recommend at all and I find it surprising that you are still allowed to open in view of the pigsty.
25/09/2024: More than an hour of waiting for a take-out order, 10 people who arrived after us walked past! After all this time we learned that it was an "error in our order of 2 menus". A best of bigmac and a macWrap I don't see any originality causing such a failure. Furthermore, no information, apologies or commercial gesture... Everything was cold, melted. To flee.

22/09/2024: First of all: I have rarely felt as uncomfortable in a restaurant as I did yesterday in "Le Regency". The restaurant was empty except for one table with two people. According to the waitress, the table we chose was “reserved”. We were there late and of course no more guests came after us. So we shouldn't have the choice of a free table... The menu gave the impression that it had been unchanged for 20 years, was slightly dingy and had a design from the last millennium. In addition, the restaurant did not appear to be hygienically good. But in the end it's about the food. And this is where the real catastrophe emerges. The risotto was dry like a rice side dish, the scallops were warm, but I doubt whether they had experienced butter and a pan. The chicken was dry and the vegetables were very oily. I know such a review is not good for the restaurant. But I feel called upon to do this, especially because our criticism that evening wasn't well received by the waitress. She justifies herself by saying that "...Yes, other guests think everything is good." We really didn't like it and think you shouldn't spend your money there.
25/08/2024: Great experience in this restaurant which doesn't look like much. Very friendly and attentive waitress. Well prepared and very well presented dishes, you can feel that everything is fresh and homemade. Thank you very much for this pleasant moment on the banks of the Loire.

01/09/2024: Delighted to have found this Italian restaurant where we ate excellent pizza and amazing ice cream. In addition, the rosé from Italy was refreshing and fruity.
Only one small downside, the takeaway which slows down the service in the room but the manager's kind smile forced us to forget this point.
In the end, congratulations, you are great people.
When we return to Gien, we will have dinner at your place.

26/07/2024: It’s not so easy to find a good restaurant for an affordable price. So my 5 reflect a high value for money appraisal .
My wife and i were cycling from Roanne to Nantes and in the evening we enjoy having good food and a service treating us with kindness and courtesy. This was well the case in this restaurant of Gien, a little outside the city centre (15min cycling from the camp ground) but a nice discovery.
So this this Risotto with Merlu, topped with a thin slices of chorizo was not only daring but tasty. A the desert, with ricotta, an apple sorbet on a crispy chocolate was gorgeous.
The room is unique, not only cosy as in a good English restaurant, but also valuable to discover the earthenware of the city.

06/09/2024: Nous sommes venues un vendredi soir à 4 san sréservation et la dame nous a gentiment accueillies même à 21h. Elle a été adorable pendant tout le service : courtoisie, sourires, nous a proposé de finir à l’intérieur pour être plus au chaud. Cette dame a été dévouée pour nous faire passer un bon moment. Les crêpes étaient délicieuses, comme toujours. À la fin même quand nous avions été débarrassées nous avons tardé pour discuter, elle ne nous a pas fait sentir qu’il fallait partir. Je recommande à 100%, il manque juste une étoile pour la décoration intérieure qui selon moi. Mériterait un petit coup de neuf. Merci madame pour cette soirée.
