The terrace was lovely and sunny, it's a shame the tables were so close together. There was a bit of a wait to be served, and the owner was rather unfriendly to customers and strict with her staff. The bill arrived before we even asked for it...

No special decor, but that's not a problem. We appreciate the simplicity. However, one downside: the premises are not properly cleaned.

A place that fits like a glove!
The "crispy-yet-melty" batter is a rare find in crêperies these days. Rested for 48 to 72 hours, it has developed its full flavor, enhanced by perfectly controlled cooking—pure bliss!
For something a little different, the chef offers his local interpretations. I had duck confit gizzards, delicately sliced, accompanied by an onion chutney, all finished with a subtle Roquefort sauce so as not to overwhelm the palate, and a walnut salad with a touch of sherry (I think). The harmony of flavors is perfect; bravo to the chef!
The dessert crêpes are just as delicious as the galette! The service, provided by the owner, is perfectly executed and extremely friendly.
We were fortunate enough to indulge our sweet tooth and even saw the chef, at the end of service, visit his guests to answer any questions or comments. Considering that they both took over this business only a month or two ago, I can only wish them well-deserved success, as they certainly have all the ingredients for it. Well done, and see you soon!

The hotel restaurant is good, but at 8 pm they turn customers away, claiming to be full, which is inaccurate; there were only about ten covers! Completely unprofessional!

The staff were exceptionally kind, especially the woman who manages the hotel—a true gift for hospitality!
The rooms are simple, spacious, and spotlessly clean.
Breakfast is a delight, and the aroma of fresh croissants wafting through the hallways when you wake up is simply irresistible.
The hotel, ideally located in a lively area of the city center, has an authentic charm you won't find in large chains.
It's next door to a friendly and popular bar, perfect for soaking up the local atmosphere.
Value for money: excellent.
What more can we say? Go and experience it for yourself—for us, everything was perfect!

14/12/2025: First visit this Sunday at lunchtime, the experience was relatively good.
The establishment is chic, well-maintained, and clean. The table setting was lovely. The welcome was basic.
The service was smooth, with little waiting between courses, which were also quite generous. The price was justified.
However, I would have appreciated a little more explanation about the wine (perhaps a tasting beforehand; the "Séisme" Syrah is a bit surprising) and the dishes.

09/03/2026: We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in Figeac. The location is ideal, perfect for exploring the town on foot. The suite was spacious and comfortable.
The breakfast was very complete and of high quality. We also had dinner at the restaurant in the evening, and it was very good.
The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
The only slight drawback was that the gym wasn't fully functional, as the cables on the machine were faulty.
Overall, a very good experience.
22/02/2026: Restaurant for February 14th. The staff was impeccable, the food was good, but overall it didn't live up to the price paid. The cheese came with a glass of water, the aperitif was extra, and the price of the glass of champagne was artificially inflated to mask the mediocre quality. The reconstituted beef fillet wasn't up to the standard we've enjoyed in previous years. I sincerely regret this. A correction needs to be made before we'll be able to return.

refined and delicious dishes.
10/12/2024: La Strada now renamed L'arcane could be good, but wasn't.
We chose to eat there because they have a wood-fired oven, which is usually a basic guarantee of pizza quality, but our pizza bases were soft, doughy and under-cooked, so the topping soaked into the dough creating a sloppy mess that made pizza inedible. This was doubly unfortunate because they used good quality flour and good quality fresh ingredients that were spoiled by the badly cooked base.
As a bit of a pizza purist, I'd been hoping for nothing more elaborate than a basic well-made Napolitaine with black olives and anchovies. Unfotunately nothing so simple was available, so we had to opt for something more elaborate, whose topping, rather surprisingly was mixed with slightly warmlettuce and mache.
They really need to keep it simple and master the basics before attempting more fanciful variations on classic pizza. Our bill came to 45€ for two inedible pizzas and a half bottle pichet of pinot.
Finally, later in the evening had indigestion of the sort that I associate with eating bread from bakery chains that use rising agents rather than proper sourdough.

We received a very warm welcome and enjoyed a delicious meal.
The dishes were tasty and generous, and the service was excellent.
We highly recommend this establishment, which is definitely one of the best restaurants in town.

30/12/2025: I am very disappointed regarding the origin of the products I purchased. Two days ago, while passing through Figeac, we bought, among other things, goose rillettes. Not having my glasses to read the origin of the meat, I asked the shop owner if it was French, and he confirmed it was. Once home, I checked, and unfortunately, the meat is from the EU. I would never have bought it if I had known. This is dishonest.
24/10/2025: I stopped to look at the window and the restaurant because I knew what I was looking for but the discomfort created by the person present that day 😯🫤 I didn't even dare to go in to ask for information
