31/01/2026: I can't comment on the hotel, as we didn't stay overnight, only ate at the restaurant.
It definitely deserves 6 stars :) Excellent service, excellent food, very pleasant setting.
This is the second time we've been there to celebrate our birthdays and we will definitely be back.
A big thank you to the whole team for your warm welcome and kindness.

25/12/2025: At over 20 euros a portion for a meatball and a chicken leg in steamed carrot broth, it's expensive. It was recommended to me because it was supposedly a generous meal for no more than 20 euros… I was ashamed to invite people… very disappointed. I hope it will be better next time.

11/10/2025: We were given a very warm welcome upon our arrival. A delicious local menu followed by a complimentary appetizer... a very pleasant experience with a little background music and a chat with the owner. A small establishment in the old town of Mende, which requires a reservation in advance.
A must-see address. Everything was excellent.
See you next time on your next visit to Mende.

07/03/2026: Lunch on a Saturday, the Lozère salad was hearty and generously topped, the customizable waffles were a real treat with a generous dollop of whipped cream! The owner was friendly, the service quick and efficient – in short, a very good experience!

30/01/2026: Very nice. For me, this is a restaurant I'd forgotten about in Mende because it's a bit out of the way and, more importantly, the storefront isn't very visible to passersby. The meal was excellent and the welcome was warm.

24/02/2026: It was very good; we chose two Aubrac beef steaks. The fries were excellent, and the sauces were too! The desserts were also good and beautifully presented.
04/01/2026: A warm and professional welcome, the enticing menu lives up to its promise, and the atmosphere is serene with a genuine desire to please the customer.
The food is delicious, and the staff, very personable, knows their products and menu.
It's an excellent experience without a single flaw. The ingredients are fresh and expertly prepared, and the price is also very reasonable considering the delicious taste. We highly recommend it!

29/01/2026: It's more like a two-star than a three-star hotel. I was given a supposedly luxury room without being told it was a special room for disabled guests. While I have nothing against disabled people, it would have been helpful to be informed beforehand. The rooms are mediocre and often very noisy in the morning showers, with no hot water – in short, a disaster.
Not to mention the noise from the upstairs neighbor until midnight, when it sounded like she was moving furniture. The reception was pleasant enough, and the hostess isn't to blame, but overall, not a great experience.

23/02/2026: The restaurant served me a Margherita pizza with ham. The owner told me that the Margherita contained ham, and I replied that it didn't. He wouldn't listen and simply charged me for the pizza, even though he clearly saw that my son only ate one slice. The service was very cold; the owner only seemed interested in customers he knew. He saw that I was just passing through but didn't offer me a coffee or any other drink. The restaurant was practically empty, and I understood why.

14/10/2025: In the pedestrian heart of Mende. Nice setting and original decor. Very friendly waiter and owner! Delicious knife-cut tartare with high-quality meat! Excellent value for money. We would have loved homemade fries... so we'll be back 😉

01/03/2026: The fries are always cold here, but we often go when we're shopping because we like burgers. Our order was delivered without one burger, and no one told me. I had to go and ask, and they told me it was made to order (a McCrispy for my husband). Almost 15 minutes later, it arrived cold. In the meantime, I had already eaten my burger, which was also cold. They offered to make it again, but I refused. So I was refunded for the burger, not for the meal, just for the burger—and what's more, the refund was insufficient since they refunded me for the wrap and not the burger. I got a half-hearted "sorry," but basically, it was clear that no one cared. I won't be going back.
05/02/2026: I ordered McFlurry ice creams, one with caramel Kit Kat and the other with chocolate Kit Kat, and I got plain ones. Things aren't getting any better at the beginning of February; there are only problems like this!
