11/10/2025: We were given a very warm welcome upon our arrival. A delicious local menu followed by a complimentary appetizer... a very pleasant experience with a little background music and a chat with the owner. A small establishment in the old town of Mende, which requires a reservation in advance.
A must-see address. Everything was excellent.
See you next time on your next visit to Mende.

29/06/2025: While passing through Mende, we were able to eat a good àligot sausage. A wide selection of coffees.
08/06/2025: A very good discovery, the quality of the food stands out in itself. The menu is classic, but that's exactly what you need; it would be a shame to miss out on the flavor of the meats. A special mention goes to the aligot, even though I was apprehensive about eating it given the "hot" season, but the taste quickly put that apprehension aside.
The wine list is a sure bet.
The waitress was very pleasant, even though we were so chatty that we made her Jon very difficult to order. Thank you for this meal.

23/09/2024: When I read the opinions on this establishment I believe in humanity..., the service is certainly very good, the dishes for their part are of very very poor quality, myself being a cook I can say that three quarters of the products produce their freeze and have no taste!

14/10/2025: In the pedestrian heart of Mende. Nice setting and original decor. Very friendly waiter and owner! Delicious knife-cut tartare with high-quality meat! Excellent value for money. We would have loved homemade fries... so we'll be back 😉

(I work in a McDonald's) for information the recipe for the small vrap is: ranch sauce, fried onions Mc salad, half of a chicken tender cheddar And you fold the crepe
And you pack The royal onions have nothing to do in the little Wrap As well as the Batavia salad 🤣👍👍
14/09/2024: Very bad Mac Do. Waiting at the drive-thru for 10 minutes to order and after paying, waiting 30 minutes outside in our car to collect our takeaway meal... even though there was no crowd and we understood why.🥺. A lot of effort to be made 🥴

23/07/2024: Excellent restaurant très propre, patron très gentil, plats excellents et copieux. J'avais réservé pour 13h30 alors qu'il fermait à 14h, pas de soucis pour lui, il a fermé à 14h25 après notre départ. Je recommande vivement aux locaux et aux touristes excellente adresse pour se régaler
21/07/2024: Excellent restaurant. However, the prices for takeaway meals are outrageous given the quantity. This was already from before, but now the prices have increased, and for €23 you come back with 200 grams of salad.
I don't understand why the take-out prices are identical to those "in the dining room".
I'm taking a photo of a takeaway for €10.
A salad leaf cut into 3, a few peanuts and grated carrots.
90 grams when weighed.
In short, it's better to eat there!
I forgot... For this price, no sauce... I don't eat much in the evening, but now I'm still hungry.
Note that the flyer in the room at the counter displays the old prices :(

14/12/2024: A hotel that I visited with pleasure a few years ago for its inn with its aperitifs by the fire and whose service has changed a lot. The place is always clean and pleasant, the rooms comfortable even if a little old. On the other hand, on the catering side, it's a disaster, not informed that the restaurant was closed, we were treated to poor jars that were frankly mediocre reheated in the microwave... the breakfast was acceptable, except for all the bread and pastries which came out of the freezer.
In short, I won't come back.

We had the pleasure of making pressed oranges using a machine made available to us.
A real treat
