07/03/2026: Lunch on a Saturday, the Lozère salad was hearty and generously topped, the customizable waffles were a real treat with a generous dollop of whipped cream! The owner was friendly, the service quick and efficient – in short, a very good experience!

19/03/2026: A wonderful discovery! The service was very efficient, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The dishes were delicious and offered at a very reasonable price. We've decided to return to your restaurant on our next visits to Mende.
30/01/2026: Very nice. For me, this is a restaurant I'd forgotten about in Mende because it's a bit out of the way and, more importantly, the storefront isn't very visible to passersby. The meal was excellent and the welcome was warm.

11/10/2025: We received a very warm welcome upon arrival. The local menu was delicious after a complimentary amuse-bouche... a very pleasant moment with soft background music and friendly conversation with the owner. This small establishment in the old town of Mende requires advance booking. An address to remember. Everything was excellent. We'll be back on our next visit to Mende.

Nothing more... It's a shame to come here and spend your money when there are better options elsewhere.
14/03/2026: The food was quite good, however, the waiter was extremely aggressive.
We asked for a second beer, and the waiter became aggressive, saying, "If you don't tell me what kind of beer it is, I can't know." He then aggressively moved the bread basket to see our table number and knocked empty cans of Coke off the table. Secondly, we were there, and he was aggressive with customers. The first time we visited, he complained about another customer. To us... Avoid this place; it's unprofessional.

24/02/2026: I stopped at L'Oxxo Grillade on a Sunday evening on my way back from vacation in February, and I was pleasantly surprised.
We were warmly welcomed by a very polite young waiter and quickly made to feel at home. The mouthwatering aroma of grilled food quickly convinced us to choose the set menu. The portions were generous, the presentation was lovely, and there was background music playing. All this for a very reasonable price: €50 for two people. I will gladly return and highly recommend it.
24/02/2026: It was very good; we chose two Aubrac beef steaks. The fries were excellent, and the sauces were too! The desserts were also good and beautifully presented.

29/01/2026: It's more like a two-star than a three-star hotel. I was given a supposedly luxury room without being told it was a special room for disabled guests. While I have nothing against disabled people, it would have been helpful to be informed beforehand. The rooms are mediocre and often very noisy in the morning showers, with no hot water – in short, a disaster.
Not to mention the noise from the upstairs neighbor until midnight, when it sounded like she was moving furniture. The reception was pleasant enough, and the hostess isn't to blame, but overall, not a great experience.

31/12/2025: Horrible! This is the absolute worst, we've never seen anything like it! The waiter—it was impossible to tell if he was the owner or not—in any case, we'd barely walked into the establishment on December 31st for a drink when the person who greeted us was aggressive, saying, "I don't have time, go away." Sir, the basics of running a business are to start by saying hello to customers, and if you're full, say, "Sorry, I'm full." What would be even better is to put up a "Full" sign at the entrance to avoid being disturbed, but that requires a bit of intelligence. Sir, you should quickly change professions because you're damaging the industry...

02/04/2026: I ate there today after several years away (the menu hasn't changed in over 15 years). No freshness, no seasonal vegetables!
The same chipped plates as always, and to top it all off, the mayonnaise and ketchup were all over three weeks past their expiration date.
The waiter apologized, but the owner didn't even acknowledge the issue when it was reported at the register. Oh yes, of course, they had to take the money.
17/03/2026: Great little restaurant in a beautiful setting.
The terrace is fantastic in the summer.

02/09/2024: I stayed at this hotel for two nights.
The couple is overwhelmed by this hotel, which is so overcrowded! When I arrived, I searched for my room for at least ten minutes, and the door was behind a closet door, like a technical closet.
My first night was chaotic. There were bees that I had to kill during the night. The second night, spiders (a real zoo).
No television.
When you turn off the light, the outlets are no longer powered. There's no way to charge your phone, or sleep with the light on.
When I arrived on the second day, there was a huge leak in the bathroom, full of water, but unfortunately, no one at reception or on the phone.
This leak was known because it came from the toilet tank, which you had to turn off after flushing.
€144 for 2 nights. I wonder if I shouldn't have slept under the stars.
Strongly not recommended.
27/08/2024: I do not recommend this hotel!! Very disappointing, the morning cleaning wasn't done, the reception was disappointing, there was no shower gel, and the door was difficult to open with the key card!! Avoid at all costs!

09/06/2024: Dans un petit village medievale un superbe restaurant vous délecte les papilles avec ses plats recherchés.
Tout est fait à la commande, je ne comprenais pas lorsque à la réservation ils m'ont dit d'arriver au plus tard à 12h30.
C'est normal puisque tout est cusiné à l'instant, pour préparer un bon risotto comme entrée il faut son temps.
Une excellente cusine, des saveurs recherchés avec des belles associations dans une salle magnifique, un service impeccable.
Merci vraiment à l'équipe, nous avons passé un très bon moment.
