30/09/2026: A warm atmosphere, impeccable service, and incredibly generous portions!
We had an absolutely perfect time. The place is magnificent, decorated with exquisite taste. A huge thank you to the entire team: the ladies in the dining room are exceptionally kind, and the service is simply impeccable. As for the meal, the portions are incredibly generous and delicious.
Go without hesitation; it's a hidden gem! One thing is for sure: we'll be back!

Auberge Normande
Carentan
09/06/2026: I've been staying in hotels every day for nine years and I've never seen anything like it. The room wasn't clean, the walls were stained everywhere, the towel warmer was rusty, and the light fixture was hanging off the ceiling. I arrived at 6:30 PM and waited at least 10 minutes before anyone came. Even when you're first in the breakfast room, there are crumbs on the table that must have been there the day before. Paying €128 for a night's stay for this is a disgrace.
06/06/2026: We ate very well and it was delicious.

L'Escapade
Carentan
11/05/2026: Clearly, many of the one-star reviews are relevant, as this establishment was recently declared closed by administrative order… Thank you to them.
09/05/2026: Nice hygiene report published in the local press! Administrative closure is outrageous; it's a disgrace to see such things in your establishment's kitchens.
