25/05/2026: €6 for a pan bagnat with a few raw vegetables and a single, measly anchovy… Disappointed by the changes over the years!
20/05/2026: Disappointed with the pan bagnat because there were no anchovies, no onions, and it wasn't salted... and yet, for me, they were the best a while ago.
The pissaladière was tasty, but it's a shame it was so oily (the packaging was completely soaked). However, the chard tart was very good.

04/07/2026: Food was decent, and I appreciated that we were seated immediately on a Saturday night. However, it took over an hour for us to be served our food. With that, my husband was served his entree when I was served my starter. It was another 30 minutes on top of that until I got my entree. No one checked in on us during the duration of our visit, we had to flag down a staff member every time we needed a drink or even just water. We are from the US, and we felt as though we were being taken advantage of, especially when the (manager?) asked for a tip when we were paying after waiting nearly two hours for our food.

21/05/2026: Horrible service, me and my friend attempted to dine just now and we were told we can seat ourselves. We pick a table and waited 10 mins for someone to come introduce themselves as our server. No one came we had to get up and leave because we were being discriminated against not sure if its cause we are Americans or hispanic but I’ve never experienced anything like this before. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
19/05/2026: This place was recommended to me but I honestly had a pretty bad experience. The wait wasn't long and the atmosphere was pleasant but the service I received was disappointing. Starting off with the food, I thought it was okay, nothing special but nor was it bad but the portions were generous.
However the service is what left a distasteful impression. Asking for a refill on water felt like an impossible task, I would ask and never receive it. My biggest pain point was how disrespected I felt. Normally bread is served as soon as possible however I never got it which didn't bother me. What really bothered me was that fact the waiter gave us the bread basket that contained a single slice of bread from the table next to us after our entrée was served.
I personally wouldn't recommend this but it seems like they treated other people better. Maybe there's a bias towards foreigners. This was just my experience and is one of many.

15/06/2026: A small thank you to this Nice institution that has mastered the pan bagnat (albeit with a touch of oil, of course), from a Niçois who grew up with its unique aromas and taste.
Now, it's the little boy in me who thanks you for making my eyes light up in front of that metallic crushed ice machine that fascinated me. Thank you for undoubtedly contributing to my potential future diabetes by delighting my childhood taste buds with the many and varied syrups that I sometimes tasted for the first time in my life. Thank you for the peach syrup. Thank you for making me spend the two euros from the tooth fairy on a gratta keka on Saturday afternoons. Thank you for making me say a thousand times to my father, "The gratta keka is cold." Thank you for the drops of icy water that ran down the glass and splashed onto my burning feet along Boulevard Franck-Pilatte. Thank you for letting me play football on the Corsica Ferries departure ramp, with that little hut, the large pine tree sheltering it, and the sound of the ferries' horns announcing their slow departure as my backdrop.
Thank you for giving me, now an adult, the reflex to get a scratch and relive all those memories.
Thank you for everything and for the resilience to the cold that I developed, thanks to my time with you.

02/06/2026: One of the best Lebanese restaurants in Nice. Even though it is located in a tourist heavy area, it is definitely NOT a tourist trap.
The food is top notch, fresh, savory, and satisfying portions.
Lebanese cuisine is very rich in flavors, colors, and very healthy and this place checks all the boxes.

02/06/2026: Terrible, one star only because it's impossible to give less!
We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and unfortunately, it was a decidedly negative experience from every perspective.
From the start, a complete lack of organization was evident: after ordering from one waitress, a few minutes later another lady returned to the table to ask for our order again. When we pointed out that it had already been taken, she responded in an annoyed manner, asking who had taken the order and forcing us to start over.
Things then got worse during service. I was brought a dirty spoon, and after I stopped a waiter to ask for a replacement, he literally took it from me without bringing back a clean one. The same waiter, when I asked for the spoon again while he was serving our dishes, responded with an incredible, "What's a spoon?" He then asked if we wanted bread; we said yes, but the bread never arrived, and we were forced to ask another waitress for it.
The most serious issue, however, concerns the food. We found a piece of plastic in our plate of seafood spaghetti. For this reason, we weren't able to finish the dish. When we reported the incident to the manager, her response was disconcerting: instead of apologizing, she told us that "we'd already eaten enough" and added that the plastic came from calamari and that "nobody cleans it up there."
Such a response is simply unacceptable, both from a professional and a health and safety standpoint. Mistakes and inconveniences can happen anywhere, but what really makes the difference is how they are handled. In this case, we found disorganization, poor customer service, and a total lack of respect.
We were treated poorly and ate worse. It's an experience we won't repeat and we absolutely can't recommend.
01/06/2026: We were seated squeezed into a table for 2. After waiting 25 minutes for any service even though it wasn’t overly busy, we left to find another restaurant where we received professional and welcoming service.

26/05/2026: A very pleasant experience, the room and bed were very comfortable, the food was excellent, the staff were smiling and attentive, a little noisy but that's the price of a superb central location, ideally less than a minute from the beach and all the shops.
24/05/2026: Excellent location right on the promenade. Hotel alittle old but the staff is very helpful.

15/06/2026: We went as a group of 8 people. 3 ate entrecote (dry and tough meat), 2 people ate pasta (tasteless). 3 ate the duck, which was okay. Expensive for what they offered.
13/06/2026: I don't usually leave ratings or reviews, but my partner and I had such a disastrous experience that I feel compelled to... We ordered grilled octopus that arrived practically cold and anything but grilled, a salad that was as bland as could be... mussels marinière that were barely edible and literally swimming in murky water... The food has nothing to do with Niçoise cuisine, just like the people who run the place. A waitress, presumably the owners' daughter, who would be wise to consider a career change... We replaced one dish with another, which was edible, but nothing special... This restaurant may cater to tourists, whose palates and wallets deserve respect. In short, a restaurant on the Cours to avoid.

31/03/2026: Set up and pack up like common animals? Just because the table is reserved. Understandable, certainly, but politeness and respect are essential and should be enforced.
So, to you bespectacled waiters around forty, please learn to communicate respectfully.

I'm a regular at the restaurant and it's not for nothing: the dishes are very good, the setting is friendly, the staff is very kind and professional, go there with your eyes closed, you won't regret it!
30/08/2024: The quality of the meals was great! Speed at the top! The only problem is the waitress's final remark (brown ponytail) which clearly turned on my husband! Asking her openly that if she agreed to take her bank card what did she get in exchange! (because we always play a game of who will pay for each other) there were 4 of us and I think she probably shouldn't not knowing it was my husband but it's still very cheeky.
