Excellent couscous, top-notch merguez sausage!
One small point to note, however: I was surprised to see someone who didn't appear to be part of the staff smoking in the kitchen, and then handling the pastries with their bare hands. It's a shame considering the quality of the food and service.

20/11/2025: It's a fantastic place that you discover upon entering...the "wow" that I had was the beach area with sun loungers and parasols...I felt like I was in a hotel in the Caribbean.....this place is magical, I highly recommend it.

Auberge des Glycines

16/02/2026: To the right of the church at the top of the main square, you'll find the Auberge des Glycines. The welcome, the establishment, and the staff were all very pleasant.
Our room was quite spacious and overlooked the patio. The king-size bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows. Perhaps a rug at the foot of the bed on each side would have been a nice addition.
The bathroom was large, with a walk-in shower 🚿, and there were no complaints.
Breakfast was quite comprehensive and served in the restaurant.
We also had dinner at the restaurant. The food was very good and generous, to the point that we had trouble finishing our main courses and ended up ordering dessert to share. Nevertheless, we thoroughly enjoyed the simple dishes, perfectly executed with quality ingredients that were full of flavor! 🫶
This establishment accepts your pet 🐕 and offers to store your luggage after you check out, allowing you to enjoy the island one last time.
We will gladly return if the opportunity arises again.

07/07/2025: Hello July 6th at 7:30 p.m. no it's raining I asked if we could have a drink I was waiting for friends 2 couples I asked the waiter behind the bar he didn't know he then asked his colleague who told me yes in a hasty tone my friends arrive we are ignored I order so at the bar then spend half an hour I asked if they wanted to serve us the waiter told me take the bottle then the waitress arrived with her tray telling us you are not the only ones there are people look at your turnover that evening you will see that they were not overwhelmed the waiter who is taking his break in full boom in short if you do not take people for a drink at least say it directly nothing to do with the waiters next door always pleasant and responsive I congratulate them cordially

07/09/2025: We had a wonderful week at this campsite. The managers are super friendly and always attentive. The mobile home was new and very comfortable, which made our stay enjoyable.
One small drawback regarding the pool: the rules aren't enforced the same way for everyone. For example, Nathalie told us that jumping or playing with a ball wasn't allowed. My daughter kept hers in her bag, but one morning, while a group of children were already playing with a ball in the pool, she wanted to take hers out. She was then asked to put it away. This made her and other children feel unfair, which was a shame.

L'Oustaou Restaurant Bar

15/02/2026: This review is about the restaurant we discovered during our stay in Porquerolles at the end of last December.
This fish restaurant is a real gem on the island!
The dishes are prepared with ultra-fresh, locally caught fish and are absolutely delicious.
The service provided by the young student was very pleasant: she was charming and knew the menu perfectly.
A must-visit for enjoying fish!
08/02/2026: Avoid this place for the following reasons (+ bonus photos):
- The website contains false information (see photo), particularly regarding the quality of the rooms and amenities. The "comfort patio" room is actually a renovated storage closet with a fresh coat of paint applied by the cook between services. Keep in mind that for this establishment, patio = storage room. Furthermore, the website claims the room has a bathtub, which is false (see photo). The superb view of the storage room and the surrounding chaos is the final touch. Finally, you'll have the pleasure of helping out with the restaurant's dishwashing or chatting with the users of the toilets located right next door, behind a wall of toilet paper. You can also go smoke through the service door of the storage room, where the staff seem to take great delight in slamming it shut.
- The poor quality of the breakfast is a disgrace: for €15 per person you get half a loaf of stale bread, one industrial croissant or pain au chocolat (and only one, definitely not two), orange juice, and a coffee or tea (again, only one, not two). See the photo; it's for two people and costs €30.
- Following our disappointment, we informed an employee of all these problems. As compensation, they offered to give us free breakfast (understandable given its mediocre quality). In the end, nothing of the sort happened; instead, they handed us a bottle of cheap white wine on the doorstep of the tiny room that served as our bedroom.
Given all this, we obviously avoided the restaurant to preserve our stomachs.
Our advice: avoid this establishment.

13/11/2024: Pleasant time spent, very good food and great setting
29/10/2024: The mussels lacked freshness, probably because they had been cooked for lunch service and reheated for evening service. This affects texture, taste and freshness. There were only 3 tables on the terrace. Was the "chef" so busy with his tables that he didn't take 5 minutes for a la minute cooking or was he more concerned with "re-baking" his molds from the previous service.
At €20.00 per portion, it’s UNALLOWABLE!
Spoiled dinner. This would also merit a small health inspection to check the conservation of food between 2 services.
Obviously, we will never return to this pseudo restaurant.

Pizzeria La Pergola

13/07/2024: Accueil très sympathique et les pizzas sont très bonnes, nous avons passé un moment très agréable et nous y reviendrons
28/06/2024: Accueil lamentable, nous sommes arrivés à 17 pers, il manquait une place et nous avons dû nous débrouiller tout seul pour déplacer une table et ajouter une chaise.
Lors de la prise de la commande, l’attitude du serveur a été détestable et agressive, comme si ça le gonflait de faire son boulot.
Les deux plats bowl Hawaï 20€ l’unité étaient immangeables, l’avocat était tellement amer et certainement périmé que nous avons dû retourner les 2 plats. Lorsque j’ai signalé le pbm au serveur, il m’a dit que ça commençait à le gonfler et qu’on avait qu’à s’adresser au patron…! Je lui aie répondu que c’était à lui de gérer cette situation !!! Et il est revenu nous proposer de commander 2 autres plats. Nous avons choisi des brochettes de bœuf avec frites et la viande était tellement de mauvaise qualité que nous n’avons pas terminé les plats. Les pizzas étaient trop cuites et sèches, la mousse au chocolat soit disant faite maison n’était pas bonne… et incroyable nous avons même trouvé du fil de pêche a l’intérieur du pain, ce que j’ai fait constater au serveur pendant qu’il débarrassait la table alors que nous n’avions pas encore terminé de manger et qui m’a répondu exactement la même chose : « allez le dire au patron ! » en mode j’en ai rien à foutre.
Bref la qualité de tous les plats commandés était vraiment médiocre à même titre que le service… !!!
Mais ça ne s’arrête pas là, au moment de régler l’addition le serveur a essayé de nous arnaquer de 61,20€, heureusement que nous avons vérifié la note et insisté pour qu’il la rectifie, car il ne voulait rien savoir et le comble c’est qu’au moment de partir il a osé nous dire les jeunes va falloir apprendre à compter !
Du début à la fin nous avons assisté à un véritable sketch, digne d’un cauchemar en cuisine, le pire service et restaurant jamais vu, c’est clair qu’on n’y remettra plus jamais les pieds et que ce genre de personne devrait sérieusement envisager de changer de profession !!!
