15/12/2024: After waiting for almost an hour, we were able to have lunch. Very good surprise. Excellent pancakes and served generously, local products, no fuss but effective. Very pleasant surroundings and smiling team. In short, a very good address and not a tourist trap.

18/09/2024: My wife and I had an excellent lunch here yesterday. The atmosphere in this 16th century dining room was exceptional. The food was delicious. We had the gizzards, Carbonade, Magret de Canard and dessert. Service was prompt and the food was perfectly prepared. We had made reservations and were among the first to arrive at noon. The dining rooms filled up fast and later arrivals had a 30-minute wait outside

The gentleman in the cap who received us should avoid making unpleasant comments, customers are not deaf...
He almost took the plate away from our neighbor who was spoiling his plate, telling him you took the formula...what a lack of professionalism the room was filling up. Monsieur was in full stress, a shame to remain with this impression

Beautiful interior decoration and beautiful lit terrace as well. Truly a wonderful evening with the family. I will come back in any case for sure. I have always loved this superb earthen town of Rochefort since my childhood. No wonder it was one of the most beautiful villages favored by the French...

24/06/2024: Frankly, I loved this nice little corner in front of the hill, the very kind waitress was even able to bring water for our little dog 🐕 and we felt comfortable, not on top of each other, very eat well honestly we will come back

05/08/2024: An essential place to buy sweets and souvenirs. They have all kinds of typical local products, as well as their own workshop where they make sweets.
The chocolate chip cookie, totally essential. They are also very friendly and advise you on the products.
