10/03/2024: Good spot for drinks and food. Generous portion sizes and will leave you satisfied especially after a day on the slopes. Quick service, friendly and a bonus of a good Guinness
16/02/2024: The original Montriond bar and still the best. The even mix of French and English says something about the bar and the owners.
Food and drink equally good and always convivial and welcoming with regular live music nights in the 8 years I've been going. Long may or continue!

30/03/2024: Be prepared: no plates, only sandwiches, seating very uncomfortable. Food seems to be good but only sandwich possibilities.
23/03/2024: Sublime free-range chicken sandwiches. Meat grilled over a wood fire, lots of herbs and raw vegetables. My advice: come early at lunchtime or in the evening, otherwise it’s full! 🤤

I lived in England for a long time where the meals are much more plentiful and less expensive.

I do not at all recommend the Chicken Tikka Massala which is tasteless and equivalent to a Picard dish.
I don't recommend Butter Chicken, let alone chicken soup.

04/04/2024: My everyday canteen. I met it in 2005. Today, the prices are almost the same and the servers are the same. Larissa is homemade. They serve it to you on a bed of olive oil... just taste it with bread, delicious! The couscous are all excellent.
03/04/2024: I rarely, if ever, post a review but I'm taking the time to write one because I had a good time in this restaurant where I came in a little by chance. during the weekend in Marseille for the match against PSG, I had lunch Monday afternoon and it was a very good remedy to recover from the defeat! Hearty, tasty couscous for only €10, unbeatable and simply good. Special mention to the exceptional homemade harissa.
I would definitely come back!

24/03/2024: What a shame to have been so poorly received. We are still surprised. Nor a thank you/bon appetit/have a good day or see you soon. Nothing at all. Plates placed on the table in a boorish and rude manner. We were in a hurry because we had already been waiting for 20 minutes with an empty restaurant. The boss did not appreciate that we asked him to be served quickly. He made us pay for it with his rudeness, his silence and two plates abruptly placed on the table. Good food but dish not very generous and expensive given the quantity. I won't go back

21/03/2024: A lovely culinary journey and a wonderful gourmet stopover awaits you, the cuisine is tasty and the welcome is warm.
Two downsides however: the eggplant fritters ordered were potato fritters and the seasoning of the dish, very variable from one time to another: I was surprised that it was so spicy!
This does not call into question the quality of the cuisine, I will come back to that!
