16/08/2026: Two women from the Ardennes region, visiting Dunkirk for the weekend, were looking for THE perfect restaurant for dinner. What a surprise! The staff were incredibly friendly, the food was homemade with love, and it was delicious! I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant! 💛 (Special mention for the EXCELLENT ravioli!)

14/08/2026: Excellent place! We loved the homemade dishes made with fresh ingredients! The coffee is absolutely delicious! We especially loved the French toast-style brioche! A real treat!

05/07/2026: A must-try if you're in Dunkirk. An unusual restaurant with a friendly atmosphere. The staff are welcoming and the food is excellent. I highly recommend the Flemish carbonnade – a real treat! Afterwards, enjoy a gourmet coffee and take a stroll along the quays to help with digestion. Don't forget to book ahead, as it's often full, especially on Saturdays.

We had a wonderful meal, with a delicious main course and dessert. 😋 We ordered the chicken with mushroom sauce and the profiteroles for dessert, which I highly recommend you try! 19/05/2026: Caution. There are two Orient Express restaurants located directly opposite each other. We went to the one called "Poulet Braise." We checked their website beforehand and chose our dishes. Of course, we ended up at the one whose menu wasn't valid. A shame. But we still found something on the menu of that restaurant. The portions were generous and good. The service was also friendly and helpful. Full marks. The ambiance could use a bit more style. Very good value for money. It would be great if the owner could clarify things on Google beforehand.

10/05/2026: The meat was cooked perfectly and was delicious, the fries were perfectly crispy, the salad wasn't dry and was incredibly tasty, the drinks were super cold, and the welcome was fantastic – it was a delight! 😋

19/07/2026: Discovered by chance, but an absolute highlight. Superb quality and excellent service. Great value for money. We had lamb and duck, which was absolutely delicious. We followed it with a cramble apple for dessert – it couldn't have been better.

06/06/2026: It's a shame one table was so noisy it was impossible to understand our conversation. Pleasant staff. Very friendly bartender with helpful tips on drinks.

22/08/2026: Delighted to have brought my friends to dinner at La Cascade, the staff were always attentive, the menu we chose (mussels from Dunkirk) was delicious, as was the wine we ordered with it, the staff always brought dessert with a smile, all this for a reasonable price, a restaurant to recommend, in a very beautiful and calm setting.

19/08/2026: We came for my grandmother's birthday, thank you so much for the candle and for offering us two aperitifs. However, we were disappointed by the constant noise in the room; I think it was the air conditioning or the ventilation. Otherwise, no complaints. Well done to everyone.
