06/03/2026: Fantastic welcome during carnival...fast service with a sea view, perfect...as was the menu...the mussels were excellent...I highly recommend it...

05/03/2026: Every time we go to Malo-les-Bains, we eat at La Lagune restaurant, where the portions are generous and the food is excellent. Plus, we have a sea view, which is very pleasant.

17/02/2026: Moderately satisfied. Young people were smoking in the back of the restaurant during the Dunkirk Carnival. Only 3 out of 4 self-service machines were working. No table service.

01/04/2026: A very good restaurant in its category. I loved the set menu: mussels (marinière style) – fries cooked in beef fat – chocolate waffle – drink – coffee. The service was quick, both for taking our order and for the food to arrive. The mussels were generous and delicious, the fries were tasty, the waffle light, and the chocolate was mouthwatering. All for €26. What more could you want? The coffee wasn't a Nespresso, but it was good and served with a speculoos biscuit (a must in Flanders).

01/04/2026: This is our third year vacationing here in Malo, and one thing remains constant: the smiling mussel. But it doesn't smile for long, because it's so fresh and quickly devoured, just like the seafood aperitif and the fantastic dessert (crème brûlée and dame blanche) at the unbeatable Formule, which would make even a king (roi de la mule) envious. What's constant is the high quality of the food, the charming service (I feel like I've known these guys for three years and watched them grow up, albeit not in a muscular way), and the price of the Formule or le Formoule rit. I've said my goodbyes until next year.

15/03/2026: My husband surprised me today by inviting me for my birthday. A wonderful discovery, both in terms of the food and the setting. Excellent service in a beautiful location. We had a very pleasant time. We will gladly return.

27/02/2026: Excellent fresh produce; they prefer to say they're out of certain items rather than serve frozen food. Very welcoming and friendly. They're accommodating if you want a dish but not a specific ingredient. A truly wonderful experience; I highly recommend it.

27/02/2026: We stumbled into this restaurant completely by chance! We were struck by the friendliness of the staff and the peaceful atmosphere! We ate extremely well; you can tell everything is homemade. And the crêpe was to die for!!! We highly recommend this restaurant.
