09/11/2024: I've only been out for a few minutes, and I know before I even taste the cakes that I won't go back.
Very unpleasant welcome. Not a smile, and the funny feeling that the sellers were making fun of me through low words.
To avoid
26/10/2024: Tried the finger of Jean Bart. Both the pistachio and dark chocolate were tasty. Nice packaging and presentation as well!

Tout petit bémol, le pain, baguette blanche plus qu'ordinaire, aurait mérité d'être un peu plus gourmand.
23/12/2023: Nous avons découvert le restaurant accessible sans être client de l'hôtel.
Le waterzooi de poisson qui donne son nom à l'établissement est raffiné et copieux (moules, saumon poisson blanc et crevettes). Décor chaleureux.
Service professionnel et souriant
Point d'amélioration : le pain, il existe certainement de très bonnes boulangeries à Dunkerque.

A great discovery. Located in the city center, I would definitely return.
Recommended.
27/10/2024: A very good time in this restaurant which certainly doesn't look like much from the outside.
Don't hesitate to open the door of this establishment, you will not be disappointed.

25/09/2024: the restaurant is not very large but it is inversely proportional to the talent of the chef...with a friend we had an exceptional time.the snails served as a starter delighted our taste buds but that was without counting the porcini mushrooms which subtly enhanced a generous omelette with unforgettable flavors...on leaving we had only one regret...it was not having gone there sooner because it really is a restaurant that is worth the detour....well done again and thank you for illuminating our day...

16/08/2024: One star for the welcome. Having the habit of eating in Asian restaurants, passing through Dunkirk, I wanted to try it when I saw the reviews. Are these fake reviews? Terrible meal. Rubbery, salty spring rolls. The Pekingese soup has no taste. The beef in spicy sauce is salty, the noodles are overcooked and bland. Doubt about the quality of the products. Never again. To flee.

08/09/2024: I was a little tired after more than 300 km of driving. I wanted to eat something simple, a nice setting, a nice menu with perfectly reasonable prices. Two professional waitresses, I let myself be tempted by the mussels marinière, nothing to say, on the other hand I asked for extra mayonnaise and I received a real homemade mayonnaise. So if the opportunity arises I will go back for other dishes. Aperitif + main course + pitcher of 25 cl wine + coffee for €30

04/09/2024: Zu essen gibt es hier eine Auswahl an Fingerfood wobei die Preisleistung sehr gut ist. Perfekt für einen kleinen Snack zwischendurch. Sehr viele verschiedene Biersorten. Die Käsenachos sind eine komplette Käse-Eskalation.
03/09/2024: When we arrived at this bar, me and my wife settled down to have a drink for myself and my wife a pancake. We had waited 10 minutes for a waiter to come and take our order because the others were too busy to discuss instead of coming to take our order I find it shameful. The worst is that when we have finished "restoring" we get up to leave and say goodbye to the bar team we had no response from their part.
We are very disappointed with this bar, we will never come back and do not recommend this bar.

Order via Uber Eats. A little late but for makis it doesn't pose too much of a problem when the temperatures are not too high.
The soup was almost empty in the bag which fortunately was separate from the rest of the order.
The 2 salty soy sauces ordered were in reality 2 jars of sweet soy sauces... suffice to say that enjoying makis is not great, especially since these 2 jars of sauces are charged extra...
The makis are a bit coarse but dry without salty soy sauce 😉
