24/02/2026: Great atmosphere! Super friendly and attentive staff. And the DJs are great.
23/02/2026: We went to this establishment as a family today (February 23, 2026). We sat at a table in front of the bar (in February, we figured the place wasn't full). We were given a menu, waited 30 minutes, and no one ever came to take our order. The waiters were chatting by the dartboard, others kept walking past our table, but nothing happened. After half an hour, we got up and left... without ordering anything. A real shame and very poor service.

22/03/2026: The service was really unpleasant. You clearly get the impression you're bothering the sales assistants, which immediately makes you uncomfortable. Under these conditions, it's difficult to have a good time or even want to buy anything. So I didn't have a good experience and I don't recommend this place, especially given the poor quality of service.
07/03/2026: The reception needs improvement... it felt like we were bothering them, which is a shame.

06/03/2026: I'm surprised by some of the negative reviews about the service, but everyone is free to think as they please.
Personally, I go there for takeout and I've always been greeted with a smile. A little understanding and patience are appreciated; the staff's work isn't limited to just serving. There's also stocking shelves, tidying, cleaning, taking orders, and they'll do their best to offer a solution if you don't want to eat a particular item. The products are good.
I haven't eaten inside yet, but I find the atmosphere cozy, and there's also a small outdoor area in the garden.
22/02/2026: So, how to put it… Bagels that looked incredibly appetizing, but were utterly empty inside. A slice of pastrami and a pickle fighting amongst a few warm lettuce leaves! A culinary experience I could have easily done without 🤦🏽♀️ In short, avoid at all costs!

05/04/2026: I ordered click and collect in the evening, and there was a 25-30 minute wait. I had to go pick up the order myself at the drive-through window.
The order contained 3 ice creams instead of 4, no apples to eat, and a hot chocolate that was just milk instead of chocolate. I tried calling twice, but there was no answer, and I couldn't go back to check, especially given how busy it was. So, in the end, I paid the full price for only half my order.

17/02/2026: How can I put it? I was extremely disappointed. I ordered a goat cheese and honey pizza, and only half of it had goat cheese and honey (well, barely any honey; I had to add more because there was so little and it wasn't even everywhere). The pizza was dry and crunchy. Absolutely terrible.
15/02/2026: The front door is not working properly. In this winter weather, it's terribly cold inside while waiting for your order; basically, it's like being outside. I can't even imagine how the people at the checkout must feel, having to endure this cold throughout their shift. If you won't replace this door for us, at least do it for your employees.

18/09/2024: So many changes and what a disappointment. We go there very often and appreciate both the welcome and the food.
Today, no more small hot and scented napkins before eating the meal, evening formula reduced to 3 orders, sautéed squid which is no longer sautéed or decorated with a sauce, recurring and oppressive passages to pick up our plates while we we haven't finished, changes of servers (before it must have been young students who were smiling and very pleasant)... In short, big disappointment, the last one for us this evening of fireworks

Tout petit bémol, le pain, baguette blanche plus qu'ordinaire, aurait mérité d'être un peu plus gourmand.
23/12/2023: Nous avons découvert le restaurant accessible sans être client de l'hôtel.
Le waterzooi de poisson qui donne son nom à l'établissement est raffiné et copieux (moules, saumon poisson blanc et crevettes). Décor chaleureux.
Service professionnel et souriant
Point d'amélioration : le pain, il existe certainement de très bonnes boulangeries à Dunkerque.

A great discovery. Located in the city center, I would definitely return.
Recommended.
27/10/2024: A very good time in this restaurant which certainly doesn't look like much from the outside.
Don't hesitate to open the door of this establishment, you will not be disappointed.

04/05/2024: 2eme visite dans ce restaurant. Avec un changement de propriétaire entre temps. Rien à dire, personnel très gentil , le nouveau propriétaire également. Pour le repas, c'est très bon et très généreux, on a vraiment plus faim à la sortie. Recommande fortement pour les amateurs de couscous

31/07/2024: Zum Abschluss unseres Urlaubs haben wir diesen Restaurant besucht. Sehr freundlicher Empfang (Reservierung aber ein Tag im Voraus nötig), Essen war sehr lecker, für uns hat es völlig gereicht, auch wenn die Mengen nicht groß waren. Der Auge isst mit und es war ein echter Geschmackserlebnis. Ich mag gesunde Küche und für diese Qualität ist der Preis noch sehr erschwinglich!
Ruhige Atmosphäre und leckere Rezepte.
Die Wartezeit war allerdings etwas lang, besonders für den Nachtisch, auch wenn es nicht ganz voll war. Nach zwei Stunden waren wir fertig, was mit Kindern nicht immer leicht ist
