A word to the manager: keep these properties and take good care of them, because it's rare to have such excellent staff.
21/08/2026: Being a big foodie, I went to get my morning pain au chocolat, and my eyes were eventually drawn to the new caramel muffins. Delicious!! They absolutely must stay on the menu, or my mornings will never be so sweet again. Special mention to the very kind saleswoman with whom I had a nice chat on this Friday morning! :)

16/08/2026: Hello, here's my review of the dishes my wife and I ordered. My wife had the Caesar salad with salmon, and I had the Caesar salad with chicken. The service was perfect: friendly, quick, and professional. The salads were perfect; the salmon was very good, and the chicken was nice and crispy on the outside and tender inside. For dessert, we had a café au lait, crème brûlée, and coffee. There was no starter, but we had a sharing platter. Really great, I recommend it.

It's a shame we don't have places like this in Montpellier!!

09/09/2026: Disappointing experience. The cocktail was three-quarters ice, which is unacceptable considering the price. The fried snacks meant for sharing were so-so. The staff was impersonal and the atmosphere unwelcoming. The value for money needs improvement.
09/09/2026: The service was incredibly slow: 25 minutes to place the order and 1 hour 35 minutes to be served... Luckily, the head waiter, Tiago, was there to help the servers.
However, I ordered lobster, but they were out of it; oysters, they were out of it; I asked for crab, but they refused because it was an extra charge—unacceptable! The calamari was good, but the mussel sauces were uninteresting (there were 10 of us).

We had a good meal, and the place was very welcoming.
However, the service unfortunately needs improvement. The attitude of some servers, both to each other and to customers, was quite unpleasant. For example, when we asked for a candle for two birthdays at our table, the waitress replied, "Well, I can't know if you don't tell me," before telling her colleague that it wasn't true. The platters were also rather poorly presented, especially the cheese platter.

10/09/2026: Hello, as a long-time customer, I've never been disappointed by the quality of the fries and other dishes. Special mention to Chef Max, the king of fries, and Gregory, the fricadelle expert. I highly recommend it!
05/09/2026: Well, it's been over five years since we left the North.
And every time we go back, we make sure to stop at the chip shop.
And honestly, we'd happily stay here just for that; the food is so good!

22/08/2026: I was pleasantly surprised to be served by a welcoming and smiling young man. He offered us an unbeatable breakfast deal: coffee and a warm, delicious chocolate croissant. A pure moment of pleasure when you want to enjoy your break in peace.
05/08/2026: I bought a fresh salad for just under 8 euros. The markup must be enormous. Because the salad was disgusting... old salad, at least a week old, and in large quantities, of course. The chicken was very poor quality, the bottom of the barrel, you could tell immediately. In short, make sure you're hungry before you eat that. Otherwise, the service was friendly. That's an expensive salad.

They managed to make me forget, for a moment, the shock of the awful hotel room.
I was very disappointed; it was a nightmare—old, dirty, without air conditioning, and noisy…
I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The dishes were beautifully presented.
14/06/2026: We had a wonderful family evening celebrating a graduation. The setting is exceptional, with a warm atmosphere and a fantastic pianist. The welcome was excellent, with high-quality, refined service. The menu was limited in number, but the dishes were all excellent! The wine list offered something for every budget, which isn't always the case. We had a very enjoyable evening and highly recommend it.
