Very warm welcome. Efficient service. Good follow-through on the dishes.

Excellent value for money.
Refined cuisine with high-quality flavor.
The wine list is decent and reasonably priced.
This level of service is becoming rare these days.
We left satisfied with this establishment, which I highly recommend.

24/03/2026: An evening at the Chalet is always eagerly anticipated and appreciated: everything is simply delicious. Unpretentious, yet flavorful. The ingredients are fresh and homemade, and the service is very friendly without being intrusive. As for the setting: the interior, with its fireplace, is just as delightful as the exterior, with its view of the castle near the lake.
20/03/2026: A lovely spot for a drink or a meal. I highly recommend this place with its exceptional view of Pierrefonds Castle.

08/02/2026: The owner turns away customers, both families and bikers, even though there's plenty of room in the bar, saying they're full.
Clearly, they're overwhelmed with very little business.
More than 45 minutes wait to be served. They should perhaps consider hiring more staff. The owner, in my opinion, doesn't want to work on a Sunday, even though it's a beautiful 14°C.
The staff isn't very friendly. Our table wasn't cleared or cleaned when we arrived, and we had to wait 20 minutes for it to be cleared. If they're overwhelmed with a ray of sunshine, what will it be like during the summer season? I strongly advise against this place.
On our departure, knowing that many tables outside were empty, there was supposedly more than a 45-minute wait to be served, even though all the other customers present were served.

29/03/2026: You can't call these pizzas, especially with the half-hour wait.
21/03/2026: The setting is pleasant, but clearly not up to the price.
The €40 "pleasure" menu: a very successful, almost gourmet starter… then the letdown. The main course and dessert are very basic, unworthy of the price. You really get the impression that all the effort is put into the starter to justify the price, but the rest of the meal doesn't live up to it at all.
The service is quite disconcerting: the person who seems to be in charge laughs very loudly in the dining room, which is not very professional. When clearing the table, she asks a question but leaves without even listening to the answer… quite telling.
The dining room is far too cramped; the tables are crammed together, to the point where you feel like you're sharing your meal with your neighbors.
Fortunately, the (older) waiter raises the bar somewhat: pleasant, professional, no complaints.
In summary: an entry that somewhat salvages the situation, but an overall experience that is largely overrated and disappointing.

03/02/2026: I strongly advise against going to the Triskell restaurant in Pierrefonds!
The manager of this restaurant clearly prioritizes himself over his customers. His own meal, as well as that of his guests, is served before customers who arrived before his guests. I waited an hour for lukewarm galettes with an ingredient I had specifically requested not be included (the waitress confirmed that the ingredient was missing when my dish arrived). After waiting several minutes for the waitress to return so I could inform her that my dish was not as ordered, I took the liberty of asking the manager, who was seated and had finished his meal. He vehemently replied, "Can I eat in peace?" while slamming his hands on the table. This gentleman clearly lacks any sense of customer service, which is a real shame because we have been regular customers for years.

22/10/2025: A superb place. It feels like a vacation. A very warm welcome. Excellent cuisine. Exceptional setting with views of the lake and the castle.
In the evening, illuminated fountains on the lake add to the beauty of the place.

12/08/2024: Excellent service, cheerful and attentive. A little refill of bread that arrives without being asked is always nice. The waiter is nice to the kids, really perfect.
The dishes are correct for their prices and the quantity is generous.
Well, we were sitting next to the little sound system in the bar and the funk was maybe a little too funk. But come on, it's summer. We're not going to quibble.
I recommend!
31/07/2024: Very pleasant to come and have an ice cream or a whipped waffle at the bottom of the castle. Fair price.
