We went here for dinner on our last evening in the city and had a great meal! Quality products, wide choice and typical traditional Parisian dishes: a must try! Super friendly and nice staff, available for explanations and friendly! They know Italian and are very friendly! Small place, it's a little hot, but that's normal because on each table there is a lit grill that will allow us to taste Parisian specialties, such as raclette and fondue! A must try during your trip to Paris!

03/04/2024: A really great Italian-run restaurant! The pizza is fresh, crispy on the edge, perfectly topped, not too much and not too little. Thin, high quality ham, perfect. The Tagliatelle Bolognese, al dente, with homemade ragout/Bolognese! Very friendly, quick, good advice. People eat in Italy. Gracie mille.

06/04/2024: We went to an event at the Institute Giacometti and were looking for a good restaurant close by. This one was a prize find, excellent food, cozy, and friendly professional service. We both had the smoked salmon starter it was excellent. My friend had the cod and I had the lamb. Both dishes were beautifully presented there was an excellent balance of meat or fish and vegetables , and both were perfectly prepared. The offerings of wine by the glass were limited but nice options. I had a cheese plate for desert and my friend had the special of the day. Finally the price point for the 3 course meal was very reasonable.

24/03/2024: The Cantine du Troquet Daguerre is much more than a canteen! Chef Christian Etchebest (no relation to chef Philippe Etchebest) owns 6 canteens, 5 of which are in Paris. The canteens each have their own identity but they share a few dishes and an influence from the South-West. Daguerre is Christian Etchebest's 3rd canteen, entrusted to Nicolas Gras, formerly pastry chef at Bristol and Ledoyen. We enter a small room with a resolutely bistro and successful decor. The tables are close to each other to reinforce the conviviality of the place. The menu has the apparent simplicity of a bistro (eggs mayo, ceviche), but we feel that it hides originality and work (tart lean ceviche, fried onions and sesame). We were particularly attracted by the starter menu, and we improvised a sort of mezze starter. The tasting confirms our intuition from the Egg Mayo from the Cantine. Nice presentation on a slate, and the mayonnaise is delicious, slightly spicy; A favorite ! We continue with the Heirloom Tomato Salad, Creamy Burrata, and the title is absolutely correct, the Burrata flows over the tomatoes, it's delicious. Ceviche has lovely flavors, and it is sliced ​​into thin strips which allow the marinade to soak into the flesh. As Les Couteaux are by Christian Etchebest, we take a double portion and nothing but happiness: generous dish of knives, beautifully cooked, decorated with small vegetables and generously drizzled with hot olive oil, which we sauce with pleasure at the end . Clearly, we will have to visit Christian Etchebest's other canteens! The service is also bistro, without frills, even a little rough at first, but in fact tinged with the warmth of the South West as soon as we chat a little. Great efficiency, the dishes come together quickly, without jostling the customer. We went there twice, in June and January. 15/03/2024: I went there in the hope of having an authentic and big disappointment. Nothing to do with an Italian pizza. I don't know if it was because it was the end of service but the dough was way too thin, the pizza couldn't bend without breaking. The margarita wasn't even with mozzarella but with grated cheese. I feel bad for my Italy :(

03/04/2024: Restaurant very well located in the 14th arrondissement. The dishes are very good and the price is more than affordable! Plus the chef often comes to meet us, I recommend :) And advice, take the herring as a starter!

17/03/2024: Very affordable lunch menu with fresh, well-prepared and plentiful products. Very pleasant service and bistro atmosphere. The bread served at the table is very good. Close to 5 stars but a little disappointed by the langoustine broth starter which I found a little bland. The rest was perfect.

09/05/2024: Great experience and good food. The atmosphere during the grand prix is ​​great. The sharing boards are very expensive for what they are (14€ for 9 pieces of pizza dough with sauce). 7 of us went there to take advantage of the Miami Grand Prix. We took a very good sharing board to wait for our friends. I had a pizza as a dish which was good but nothing more. The dough was very thin and the portion not very big. I recommend.
