30/11/2024: Excellent establishment (cafe and restaurant) in all respects. Very good atmosphere. Pretty terrace since the recent work. Very varied clientele (young people, students, local residents of all ages, tourists, large number of regulars, etc.). Lots of people at the end of the week, but not only that. The staff, very family-oriented, are adorable and adapt perfectly to the diversity of the clientele. Undeniable value for money, especially in this area!

20/08/2024: 'The Art de nuit gallery' is truly a classy and inspiring libertine club, where we look good and feel good. We love it. As soon as we arrived at 10:30 p.m., we felt comfortable and welcomed by Damien, and then Amande behind the bar. Damien even showed us around. The electro music is superb, well done Mr. DJ, the people are beautiful, well dressed and of all ages. No complex for us being in our forties. We chatted with a lovely couple also on the sofas around the dance floor. The cuddly corners are refined, subdued red, with chain curtains, simply exquisite. Even on a quieter evening like that evening (mid-August), you feel good and sexy there. Don't wait for the big parties. It was my 2nd time and my man his first, he loved it! 25/07/2024: A big thank you to the whole team for the welcome and the visit to this wonderful establishment. We came during the Filingerie evening, and it was great... This club is magnificent, the atmosphere is crazy. We really don't regret our visit. First to arrive and almost last to leave... That goes to show how good we feel there... The decor, the dance floor, the cuddly corners, the smoking area, the cocktails, everything is top notch. We look forward to returning on our next stay... Amandine and Franck

17/12/2024: Nous sommes sortie un samedi soir à 5 et nous avons eu une mauvaise expérience dans cet établissement. La personne à l’entrée était désagréable et a tout de suite donné une mauvaise ambiance à l'endroit. On nous a installés à une table ridiculement petite alors qu’il y avait de la place ailleurs. Lorsqu’un ami nous a rejoints, on lui a demandé de rester debout. Plus tard, quand la table d’à côté s’est libérée, nous nous sommes naturellement un peu installés plus confortablement, mais cette même personne de la porte est revenue pour nous dire que ce n’était pas possible. et a levé mes 2 amis alors que clairement il ya avit de la place. Bref vraiment de mauvaises vibes, nous avons demandé l'addition et sommes partis. En plus de ça, l’addition était très salée pour une douzaine de cocktails, dont 2 qui nous ont été facturés alors que nous ne les avons pas bus, car nous ne les avons pas aimés. Ce n’était certes pas obligatoire, mais un geste commercial aurait été apprécié. Finalement, nous avons quitté les lieux pour continuer notre soirée dans un endroit beaucoup plus accueillant, ce qui, heureusement, a sauvé notre soirée

24/09/2024: Denne restaurant gik vi tilfældigt forbi, og vi var ikke i tvivl om, at den skulle besøges. Restauranten tager ikke imod bordreservationer, og da det er en lille restaurant var vi heldige, at vi fik et bord. Maden var fremragende, stemningen var god og betjeningen var i top! Restauranten var velbesøgt af de lokale, og en perle der skal genbesøges!

13/11/2024: 2nd time at Alex and the same services, the same quality in terms of the choice of wines and the advice which met all tastes. We had a great time getting together with friends, we were very happy. An authentic and generous place.

22/11/2024: This new pastry, the pistachio/chocolate nun, is truly a marvel. Pain de Sucre is one of the best pastries in Paris.

21/11/2024: Pain du Sucre is one of the many store front eateries that line Rue Rambuteau leading straight to the Pompideou Center and has been one of the best patisseries on the street for 20 years. Didier Mathray and Natalie Robert have managed to keep their offerings innovative and eye catching all these years and see no reason to open another shop, because with just one, they can maintain their recognized quality. They actually have a pair of shops almost side by side, the patisserie for sweets and one for savories like their signature Pain de Sel. It is basically a flakey butter pithivier flagged with a sprig of rosemary, filled with fois gras and duck that remains one of my favorite items, comes round for an individual serving or square for four people. A full range of dinner ready patés, tartes, quiche and vegetarian specialties line the vitrines of the savory shop. What started out a whimsical fancy of weird flavor marshmallows, developed by Natalie, continues. Early 19th century French confectioners used the root of the mallow plant, a traditional medicinal palliative for coughs from ancient Egyptian times, to create an easy to eat candied form or lozenge called Guimauves. Natalie’s are more squishy, like pate de fruit squares, forget the mallow. Striking looks attract attention and their current religieuse sport a woodland theme. This traditional patisserie is historically a choux pastry stacked with a smaller one on top. The shape, supposedly originally based on a nun in black and white habit, inspired Natalie. But colors and design became open to interpretation as long as there is a small ovoid on top of a larger one. This time they made them look more like a fanciful mushroom, same creamy taste with hint of pistachio. Waiting to see their next iteration.

13/08/2024: This is surely the best Chinese noodle restaurant in Paris. The restaurant offers a varied choice of dishes at reasonable prices. The noodle broths are hearty and very tasty. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to eat real Chinese noodles, far from those found in all-you-can-eat buffets.

12/08/2024: Very nice little restaurant with a top Taylor Swift playlist! The dishes are good but if you are sensitive to pepper ask without because the 1 pepper does not look like a pinch of pepper and is already quite strong. Super fast service, we had a great time anyway!! THANKS !!

18/09/2024: I stumbled across this place while traveling alone and searching for chocolate mousse dessert on my last night in Paris. I was absolutely enamored by this place. The service staff felt like family, letting me taste part of other desserts they were making and showing me the secret room upstairs. The atmosphere was so fun and the food was delicious. 10/10 for Derrière
