26/05/2026: Friendly staff, excellent food!

25/05/2026: Excellent food ruined by disastrous service Arriving as a family of five at 7:50 pm, the evening started off well with a quick order for our aperitifs. Unfortunately, what followed was a series of interminable waits. The lack of efficiency was glaring, but the most frustrating aspect was the lack of proactive service: we had to intervene ourselves several times to request our drinks, without any improvement. To top it all off, our waitress, clearly overwhelmed, found the time to chat at length and repeatedly with a table of acquaintances right behind us. It's a real shame, because we ate very well. The dishes were high quality, but the overall experience was spoiled. Tired of waiting, we finally gave up and left before finishing our meal: the restaurant thus missed our order of four desserts and two after-dinner drinks. A very bad experience in terms of service.

15/05/2026: A fantastic find! The staff is dynamic and welcoming, the atmosphere is friendly, and above all, the seafood dishes are varied and excellent 🦞🦪🐟 A place I highly recommend… and to finish the meal on a high note, I strongly recommend their delicious infused rum 🍹👌

06/03/2026: We are always happy to return to this place, which is dear to our hearts, both for the quality of the food and the professional service, all in a pleasant atmosphere. On this beautiful sunny day in early March, we were able to enjoy our meal while gazing at the blue-green reflections of the sea.

30/05/2026: The great point for us was that it was open non-stop, that's why I chose it. But first, on a hot long weekend it was totally impossible to find a parking place, so it took me some good walk to and from a place found in the next town! Then it took them ages to bring our food, but we were not in a hurry. However, mussels were very good! So recommended, but don't go there at beach weather!

15/05/2026: The pizzas and dessert were incredibly good and generous. If only other restaurants could follow their example. It's no wonder you need to book. If you're passing through Wimereux, it's a must-try.

12/05/2026: We came on a recommendation and we weren't disappointed. The decor is nice, there's a good menu with homemade fries, and the portions are very generous...

08/05/2026: Review hôtel Wimereux I barely knew anything about this hotel when I booked it. Its very hard to find a room for a 3 person family. Inwas just happy to have found somewhere affordable we could spend the night before heading to Ireland. It turned out to be brilliant. It’s in the mainstreet of the centre of a little seaside/river side town. 7 minute walk from the beach and boulevard. We had a clean adorable 4 bed apartment. Our daughter had her own room. The staff were old school. Extremely helpful, caring, friendly, patient and polite. The restaurant serves fresh well prepared food (surf and turf) and the desserts are to die for. The music in de restaurant and hotel is pleasantly eclectic and at a non-intrusive volume. The restaurant has some lovely old features and apparently stems from 1848 . We wanted to sit in the beautiful garden terras to eat our puds and the lovely staff immediately followed us to make sure we were comfortable with blankets and a fire. The staff here are incredibly alert and acute. I’m disgustingly particular about hotel and restaurant service, because I’ve worked extensively in hospitality. It can make or break the experience. A hotel can be made of gold, but if the staff don’t care enough about hospitality it might as well be a dump. Not so in this case, they were amazing. The hotel is old and in need of some cosmetic repairs but they’ve kept some of the old furnishings. The mozaïk floor is original and the restaurant lamps are too. The mattrasses were great, blankets warm and enough extra stuff, pillows were a bit flat and hard, the ONLY minus! There is an elevator! Everything was very clean and the cleaning fluids used pleasantly scented. Definitely recommended for anyone, any age almost any family group.

02/06/2026: While on vacation, the very friendly waiters let us sit down for a drink around 3 pm. That was very kind, thank you! My husband ordered a "café bon plan" (special offer coffee), which had a really nice presentation. I can't consume lactose, so I had a beer instead. But just looking at it, I really love the texture of the pastry in the "café bon plan," it looks so soft! The view is breathtaking. The only thing that could be improved is the very basic restrooms. Everything else is perfect!

28/05/2026: We visited for both lunch (11:45am-6pm) and dinner (6:45pm-9pm) and found a very motivated team, excellent and substantial food, and very good drinks. The value for money is absolutely right; we had the full dinner package (aperitif, bottle of wine and water, cocktail) and it cost €50 per person.

15/05/2026: We spent two days at this hotel. The staff were very welcoming, smiling, and pleasant. We had a good buffet breakfast with plenty of choice, and the night porter was very friendly. We had lunch with a sea view. For dinner, we ate at the restaurant downstairs, which had a lovely setting with excellent food and a wide variety of choices. We would definitely return.

10/05/2026: Very nice, clean hotel. The rooms are large and well-equipped... Close to the sea and the city center... We'll definitely come back... The food in the restaurant was world-class two years ago... Unfortunately, not this time 😞.
