26/08/2026: The busiest days of the year. Nevertheless, the pizzas are perfect and the service is fast, as always every year when we visit.

21/03/2026: An amazing location, perfect for ski in and out. Heated ski lockers underneath building and straight out onto slopes. We upgraded our room for a mountain view and we're really pleased with our apartment. Fabulous views and away from any noise below. Quiet area of resort though, so didn't expect this to be much of a problem, however the views were incredible. Accomodation was great and very clean. Reception staff were very helpful and a nice touch being able to order croissants/ bakery bits night before. Skied with ESF ski school who were very good. Walk into the main town was approx 15 mins away. Cafes nearby though. Nearby shops could deliver food to apartment if required. Drove to resort and parking underneath the hotel made our arrival and departure very easy, trolleys available to load luggage up, to take to apartment. Lots of parking spaces. Did need snow chains to exit resort on last day. Picked up online ordering of ski passes in hotel reception. Everything seemed to be covered to make our stay very straightforward. Spa, though was a disappointment. Outside saunas did not work during our week and only 1 of the steam rooms. Swimming pool was lovely though.

22/09/2026: Easily one of the best kebab I've eaten. The balance between juice, meat, vegetables is on point, sauces are great and the galette is top notche. Special thanks to the owner whose hospitality and vibrat energy made a great meal even better 👌

27/08/2026: I find it unacceptable to allow pets in the restaurant. Dogs should be banned from the restaurant for hygiene reasons.

25/06/2026: Excellent place! The recipes are made fresh on-site, varied, seasonal, and have a touch of the exotic. I've been 3-4 times already and highly recommend it! Suggestion: a system of reusable glass containers to reduce waste?

01/08/2026: Veju today for lunch with my partner. This little restaurant is a real gem. Antonio, the owner, and Christophe, the chef, I take my hat off to them. It used to be a restaurant, and seeing them both gone is heartbreaking. Despite being short-staffed, they're still dedicated to serving their customers. Guys, I give you a big bravo! We had a lovely time with a superb hand-cut steak tartare (fantastic!). We'll be back very soon to try the pizzas, as from what we've read and seen, they look absolutely delicious. 15/09/2026: We came during the off-season (mid-September). So there was no wait at the bar and the pizza service was incredibly fast. The cocktail wasn't to my taste, poorly balanced (I only tasted the rum in my piña colada; I'm still looking for the coconut flavor). The pizzas are very good, with a light and airy yet crispy crust; and very generously topped. We'll be back!

06/06/2026: We were delighted with the meal, only disappointed with the ice cream as it wasn't a true Dame Blanche or Café Liégeois. There was only one scoop of ice cream with whipped cream.

09/09/2026: Stumbled across this place while cycling to Lac de Montriond. Tuesday night was their last BYO Bbq 🍖 so we grabbed some meat from the shop next door and chef cooked our food perfectly. You could help yourself to bread, coleslaw, potato salad and condiments. We had a fab evening and met some great people. ✌️

05/09/2026: Great food, great service, great vibes. La marmotte d’or is a truly special spot, the interior is cozy and welcoming and the sprawling terrace has gorgeous views of the mountains; the sunsets here are stunning! The food is very well-portioned and reasonably priced with some good vegetarian and vegan options. There’s a good variety of drinks: beers, wines, cocktails and mocktails. The bar regularly hosts events and concerts so it’s a great place to spend a fun evening. The staff is very friendly and all speak French and English. If you’re in or around Montriond it is truly worth the stop!

24/07/2026: We ordered pizzas for the France-Spain tennis match. They were incredibly friendly and even gave us a free pizza while we waited (because they were very busy). They even helped me carry the pizzas to the car. They were delicious. I felt it was only right to leave a review when people are so classy and do such a great job. I highly recommend them!

23/08/2026: A fantastic discovery! 🍔✨ Even though we're from the area, we didn't know about this place, which is a real shame! The gentleman serving was incredibly kind; it was a genuine pleasure to be welcomed like that. The food was flawless: burgers made with real cheddar (a real treat!), and the pulled beef was simply amazing. Special mention goes to the fries, which were also incredible. A local spot we wholeheartedly recommend. Can't wait to go back!

01/10/2026: The lasagna: absolutely amazing 😉 excellent and even better reheated. Go for it without hesitation! So good! The pizzas are also very good. Don't hesitate!
