08/12/2024: Was in Clermont-Ferrand for Business. Sampled the local cuisine and this was the absolute best meal I had the entire trip. Phenomenal flavors, with excellent wine and great company made for an absolutely amazing experience. Had visited 5 years ago, and was glad I returned.

21/10/2024: Pleasant setting but slow service, very slow... Pretty plates but very average taste qualities: the bottle without the intoxication. Perhaps too much time plating to the detriment of time spent cooking?

21/08/2024: We dined here after a business meeting. It was outstanding! I will remember the restaurant for next time. Price/performance is absolutely right here! Rarely eaten so well at this price! The waiters are very nice and quick. Absolute recommendation!

07/07/2025: We stumbled upon this truly exceptional place. Invited by a friend (hi ​​Ben,) It was crowded but not overcrowded, with old-school sound. We couldn't get enough of Pep's set! 😉 Security was good and the price was reasonable. And the decor!! I could have spent the whole evening looking for flyers from the parties we had 25 years ago 😅 We're a bit far away, but we'll come back as soon as possible. Niko & Stella

An army of student caregivers came and went there at the slightest opportunity. Efficient and professional staff who work with a smile. Thank you Seb and the whole team!

12/09/2024: The restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside but I've been going back there for over 3 years and have never been disappointed! Absolutely worth trying: the assortment of sushi, miso ramen, kaarage and red bean tiramisu. The whole menu in fact! Best Japanese restaurant in Clermont-Ferrand and the prices are very reasonable.

27/05/2024: This restaurant is a gem, even if at first glance it seems very simple. The food is excellent and prepared by a Japanese chef. The menu offers traditional dishes at very affordable prices.

18/06/2024: A short map. Very good fresh products. Homemade drinks. Fast and friendly service. It's been a long time since I've eaten such an original and hearty salad. The dishes are elaborate and visually very beautiful. Very very good value for money if you take all that into account. With the added possibility of having lunch after 2 p.m. which is not always possible elsewhere. I recommend !!!

01/09/2024: Je ne comprends pas pourquoi il y autant de si bons avis. nous sommes fais livré des pizzas. Les pizzas étaient fades avec de la garniture quasiment absente. Le contour d’une des deux pizzas étaient complètement cramé.

My husband, my 2 children (10 and 11 years old) and I have the habit during our holidays of treating ourselves to the best restaurants, the day before we were at Pamoja, a delight! So we went to the restaurant a monkey in winter there were tables available I specify and not a lot of people. The waiter of a certain age asks his boss to seat us or not and he comes back to us, takes us to the corner of the street of his restaurant, telling us, I quote, “to go to another restaurant there instead!… .our dishes are too tasty for you! you won't like it! “I should point out that my husband is West Indian so we are used to spices and tasty dishes! So I ask myself several questions: were we too “tan” for them? Are the children bothering? (Yet they are big and I didn't know that with children we had to eat at Flunch) are we people not good enough? maybe you don't have a fine enough palate for this restaurant? (not the impression that we were at the Ritz either) Apparently in terms of reception given the comments this is a habit of the house. So a deplorable welcome we were unable to judge the food. Besides that, the people arriving and who knew the restaurateurs had no problem for them. It's a shame to judge people on some criterion to know whether people have the right to dine there or not!
