27/03/2026: A superb hotel, tastefully renovated throughout, it's a truly peaceful and welcoming place. The "campanile" (bell tower) lives up to its name, with a charming path winding through trees, beautiful plants, and shrubs, leading to the rooms. Whether inside or out, you're guaranteed a pleasant stay. Breakfast caters to all appetites, including vegetarians with gluten-free options. Freshly squeezed orange juice puts you in a great mood for the whole day!
Dinner is also available at a traditional restaurant or pizzeria near the rooms, offering both dine-in and takeaway options. A wonderful and comprehensive experience. I'll be back this summer and will take the opportunity to play a game of pétanque (boules are available at reception) with my daughter!

30/12/2025: The hotel is aging; the rooms are poorly soundproofed and the premises are outdated. However, the staff are welcoming.

21/01/2026: I really like this restaurant; I've been coming for a long time and we're always warmly welcomed.
The only slight drawback is that if you arrive a little late, the food is a bit cold, but oh well… apart from that, I honestly have nothing to complain about!

Top-notch service, generous and well-prepared dishes!
Kudos to the waiters for such a warm welcome, and to the owners, who are both adorable!
We'll definitely be back!

31/01/2026: Oh, dear! What possessed me to go to that bakery! My goodness, my goodness, my goodness... The "brioche" I tasted recently seemed to have been made last year... Or maybe it's normal for it to be so hard? Anyway, the prices are... reasonable. Oh! I also forgot one detail... The sliced bread also tastes bad. Then again, as they say, "to each their own!" Some people love sliced bread that isn't soft... However, I don't want to tear this bakery apart, which is why I'm giving it a fairly decent rating. I know the staff can do better. I'll wait and see!

13/03/2026: McDonald's is so tired! The person taking orders should get hearing aids. I order a CBO and they give me a CBO Raclette. I order a Best Of and they give me a Maxi Best Of. Honestly, the staff is exhausted. They don't need a PhD to work at McDonald's, and I'm not even talking about waiting for them at the drive-thru! Avoid this exhausting McDonald's at all costs!

31/07/2024: Une cuisine digne des plus mauvais plats en boîtes industriels. Du personnel je m'en foutiste que les clients semblent déranger par leur existence.
A part les produits ISO que l'on sert désormais dans toutes les entreprises de restauration rapide (salade et glaces identiques à toutes les salades que l'on trouve partout en France dans ce genre de structure : si vous n'aimez pas l'originalité ou que vous regrettez la cafétéria du boulot, vous ne serez pas déçus ! ).
Le globe fut autrefois une halte sympathique avec une cuisine de brasserie tout à fait honorable.
Une halte ou tout issoirien aimait de temps à autre se poser.
Ce n'est plus le cas.
A fuir !
29/06/2024: L'emplacement est idéal mais le personnel manque de directive précises.
Nous avons pris et verre et sommes partis sans diner car on ne traite pas le client ainsi - c'est inadmissible. 15 personnes qui papillonnent ensemble dans un ballet mystérieux ou le client est un pion - je ne donne pas cher de ce restaurant à la fin de l'été ... dommage

06/09/2024: Passing through Issoire to dine with friends, one of the only places open in the evening in the middle of August, the atmosphere is friendly, despite the high number of tables everyone can enjoy peacefully due to the occupation of the place .
The plates are generous, the flavors are present and the use of local products is a significant plus. (Vegetarian burger for me).
The different waitresses who took care of us were professional, responsive and smiling, that's rare these days, and I would like to thank them for the positive energy they convey, which greatly contributes to enjoying the time spent on place.
To do again!
01/09/2024: Excellent discovery when arriving in the evening in Issoire: restaurant very full inside and out, but fast service and all very friendly. As for the dishes, it's plentiful - and the Guinness is very good! To recommend

21/09/2024: Nous sommes arrivé à 19h15 et reparti à 21h00 ! Il ne faut Pas être presser car ilya du monde. Nous navons paz eu de couteaux donc pour manger un burger cetait pas mal compliquer , l’eau est aussi en option apparement car il nous as fallu la demander. Bref Nous avons pris chacun une entrée Avocado Toast, qui était bonne sans plus puis nous avons pris nos plats un Burger au bleu et un avocado carpaccio. Le Burger était chaud pour le pain mais la viande était plus que tiède avec beaucoup trop de sauce Roquefort ce qui enlever tout le goût du bleu !
Pour le carpacchio 6 tranche de viande super fine er cru avec de la batavia et des frites c'était bon sans plus
Repas mitigé apart pour la sauce béarnaise qui est toujours excellente ! A noter qu'on a pas failli etre accepter car je cite " ilnya plus de table pour 2"
Mention spéciale au serveur qui n'a Pas dégainer un sourire de tout son service
C'est dommage car l’enseigne n'est pas si mal mais c'est très moyen.

30/12/2024: First time eating Indian cuisine and I'm really enjoying it because it's rare that I eat spicy food. But the flavor was there, it was a very good meal accompanied by pleasant service. We will come back with pleasure!
