14/11/2024: Restaurant sur une jolie place de mont dore, accueil chaleureux et souriant. Vous entrez dans une salle conviviale avec sa cheminée ou Félix fait les grillades devant vous, sa responsable de salle qui vous sert est d’une gentillesse et d’une efficacité comme on en voit plus, de bons conseils du début à la fin, j’ai extrêmement bien dîner et ai eu l’occasion de goûter des apéritifs et digestifs locaux sur ses conseils. Allez y sans hésiter. Merci encore et a bientôt j’espère de La Rochelle.
02/11/2024: Service très rapide au début voir expéditif même pas fini l apéritif une bière seulement que déjà les plats arrivent viande froide et assiettes pas très garnie ensuite place à une attente une attente pour nous proposer la carte des dessert puis à nouveau une attente une attente pour juste une tarte à la myrtille et un café puis encore un peu d attente et la tarte arrive mais déçu médiocres pas un régal quoi du surgelé moyen de gamme et pour le café b il arrivera jamais et nous partirons car marre d attendre et de plus en plein froid courant d air venant de l étage du dessus obliger de manger en blouson bref mauvaise expérience et je trouve que c est un manque de respect pour les clients faire du chiffre c est bien mais dans la durée j en doute que ça perdure pour notre part qui venons au mont dore de temps en temps on y reviendra pas

26/08/2024: We came two evenings in a row to ask for a table and were told curtly that it was full. This restaurant does not have 2nd service.
Too bad but really not nice.
I don't recommend.

We return from our walk at 12:00 p.m., only 2 tables of 2 people to eat, we sit on an unset table for lunch.
We order a beer and a soda, we ask if we can eat our little sandwich while we drink: refusal.
The waitress brings the bill in a cup, I put a note, after consumption I hand the cup to the waitress so that she can give me change, again a refusal she tells me that I have to go pay inside, yet the waitress has no job! I told him: if you don't bring me the change, I'm leaving with my ticket...so someone from inside came to give me the change.
Where has the service for customers gone!! especially when there are only 6 customers in total.

25/08/2024: Malgré un personnel en terrasse agréable, ce restaurant n'est pas une adresse à retenir. Le chef fait ce qu'il peut, c'est tout à fait correcte, mais l'attente est beaucoup trop longue! Nous sommes partis avant la fin du repas et avons pris notre dessert ailleurs.
La patronne est particulièrement désagréable!!!! Elle se permet faire des réflexions déplacées. Les sanitaires sont clairement à revoir!!!!!!!
Etablissement à éviter.

The impression of disturbing these two young people who mix things up every day.
Filthy toilet. A reflection of the establishment and the staff.

07/09/2024: We spent 2 nights at Mont Dore and deplored the coldness of many traders….
An exception for this bar where the waiter (ex Parisian 😉) welcomes his customers quickly with humor and good humor; In short, we found the perfect place for our aperitifs (excellent spritz!!).
06/09/2024: If you want to share some good humor with the boss, this is the place to stop! Broom in the hmmm and pursed mouth

10/03/2024: I find the comments very harsh.
The hotel is well located. We were very well received. The receptionist is very kind and smiling. After skiing in the snow and with a lot of wind, we enjoyed the heated swimming pool (free access). There is also a sauna and steam room (which worked and are free too).
It's very hot in the room but it allows you to dry your ski clothes and that's very nice. It's better than the opposite!
The King size bed is actually 2 beds pushed together but it’s like that everywhere!
Frankly considering the price: we are delighted!
There is nothing shocking in the price except the price of breakfast at €15 which is a little high but we can't judge because we didn't have it.
And if you want to eat: the restaurant was really very good: we weren't expecting such good dishes given the price (28€ for the starter, main course, dessert menu). In another hotel it’s €15 for a croque monsieur.
The large lounge in the lobby is superb.
People who criticize have obviously never been anywhere else or simply don't look at the price and photos of other accommodations.
We will return to this hotel with pleasure!
