But above all, it is the meeting of a man: Medhat! An exceptional man, at the service of each of his clients. You can tell that he really loves what he does and that he wants each of his clients to have an unforgettable time. This is the case for us. We will come back.

03/04/2024: We stopped to eat while we were passing through the city, despite arriving late, they treated us kindly.
They served us the menu of the day, which consisted of Basque chicken. Although it was the only thing available, it was tasty but nothing out of the ordinary. However, the wine was excellent and the service was attentive. The atmosphere was welcoming and familiar, which contributed to an overall pleasant experience.
21/03/2024: Coming back from San Sebastian, we had 1 hour to settle down before the train to Paris.
Excellent break, friendly welcome and quality of products, especially the white wine!

05/04/2024: Both the room (very clean, very spacious, very well equipped, with effective air conditioning, good bed and huge TV) and the hotel itself and the staff (very friendly) were fantastic.
The breakfast would improve if anything, I missed fresh milk with colacao, something of that style.
03/04/2024: I just spent a night of good sleep on the road to Morocco. Good dinner in a comfortable room.

03/11/2023: Bad news, very bad news. The Battela closes its doors in its current form at the end of November. I invite all Hendayais and beyond to come and enjoy one last time. The sweetbreads returned to the menu like a final fireworks display...I tenderly thank Sébastien and Elo for their always joyful and emphatic welcome. I also thank the previous generation who were also so attentive despite the terrible and unfair hazards of life. In any case, good luck and all the best for the future. That said, I'm going to use November to share moments that are both delicious and so friendly.
