13/03/2024: It's an izakaya, a restaurant serving REAL Japanese dishes, not European-style sushi. A cuisine as tasty and sought-after as ever. Real traditional recipes (poteto salada, gyoza, etc.). The previous owner retired and returned to Japan, the new team is charming and dynamic, they speak Japanese with the regulars! The decor has been completely revised and modernized but the menu and suggestions remain as high quality as ever. For me, it remains the best Japanese restaurant in Lyon. The bill may seem steep but it's well worth it. Be careful, I repeat, this is not a sushi restaurant, even if they have some on the menu... Go ahead if that's what you're looking for.

09/03/2024: Everything was delicious, from the chirashi to the green tea chocolate fondant. The service was there! Very pleasant atmosphere we will come back to taste the rest of the menu :)

31/03/2024: Experience at Paul Bocuse on a Saturday evening, we let ourselves be tempted by the centenary menu with the food and wine pairing. In terms of dishes, nothing to complain about, everything was very good, however we were very disappointed with the wines that accompanied our dishes (based on port from start to finish) for €300 more per person, we expected something else . Also disappointed in the level of service, the waiters were not very pleasant, numerous errors (we went out to get some fresh air at one point, we returned the dishes were on the table..), the level of the wine glasses was never equivalent between glasses. Overall we ate very well, but for a restaurant of this type, we expect another service.

06/04/2024: Top 3 of the best burgers I have ever eaten in my life. Whether it's the burgers or the homemade fries, everything is excellent. And they are super friendly. I highly recommend !

26/03/2024: Small room 30 people who came honored a good groupon, good meal, The show started slowly, then the good humor arrived with the songs of Charlotte shame in English, except Piaf's hymn to love which enchanted everyone. Stephane Pelletier ventriloquist who made us laugh for a moment and then BABASS there was laughter and good humor, calling out to the customers, then chreustiant and a few sketches and finalizing the evening by congratulating the boss who took over the establishment after covid and saved 32 jobs. Great evening to experience.

24/03/2024: We are leaving the Cabaret just now and we had a superb evening, the team and management took great care, the artists were top notch!! Song, laughter, laughter and more laughter!! Thank you again for this beautiful evening!!

01/04/2024: I celebrated my birthday at Briey! It was great ! No complaints. Boss and boss at the top and welcoming. The kitchen is very good. Everything is excellent. If you are looking for a warm and human place with quality cuisine, go for it!

06/04/2024: Wonderful evening, we had the tasting menu (2 starters, 2 main courses, 2 desserts) with the food and wine pairing 5 glasses. All the dishes were a surprise with a balance of flavors! Special mention for the sommelier and his selection 🍷

30/03/2024: A place to highly recommend if you are in Lyon 6. We were able to reserve a table late when there were 6 of us and we did not regret our choice. The dishes are delicious, fresh and very well prepared. The service is warm and takes place in a good atmosphere.

01/04/2024: I was struck by the refined and inventive cuisine of Carré Royal. This impression was confirmed during our second visit. The chef highlights beautiful products, the plate is superb. Excellent cheeses and very fine desserts. A beautiful wine list and wise advice: the owners have selected the wines carefully and know how to talk about them. The welcome is warm, as is the setting. A very nice address in Lyon to absolutely discover!

30/03/2024: L'ambiance et le service excellent. La sonorisation est très mauvaise, beaucoup de bruit on entendait très mal. Sinon rien à redire du reste au top

06/04/2024: I discovered this restaurant last night and what a nice surprise from start to finish.... As an aperitif I had a rose lacci....(copper shaped glass I like to look at what I drink...it's just that I was expecting a drink like on the menu) a starter based on samosa with meat to die for!!!!and the main course is a dish of lamb and d Eggplant is an explosion of flavors with perfectly tender lamb meat!!! With an accompaniment of basmati rice and the famous cheese naan.... I would have liked some background music from Pakistan.... It would have cut out the background noise of the other customers and I would have really liked a traditional decoration. measure of the cuisine.... but you can't have everything... but I recommend this restaurant a thousand times!!!! 01/04/2024: Great discovery in the center of the Charpennes. Very good value for money. The dishes are delicious and the setting is nice. I highly recommend going there!!
