28/03/2026: Beware, they are not trustworthy! We pre-booked a private room in September for May, with written confirmation from them. The manager laughed, telling us we were booking way too far in advance. We contacted them again two months before to finalize things... and found out our reservation had been cancelled and given to someone else, without even notifying us!

23/02/2026: An excellent experience in a pleasant and intimate setting. The service was very friendly and unpretentious. The cuisine was truly excellent, with exquisite flavor combinations. The bill was high, but it seemed justified given the overall high quality.

10/02/2026: A truly wonderful evening spent in a historic Lyon culinary landmark. The cuisine was indulgent and generous, with all the precision of a two-Michelin-starred restaurant. (Personally, I give it three stars!) The spider crab with caviar was pure bliss! :) The staff was as warm and welcoming as those found in the finest Lyon establishments. I'm already eager to return. One minor point, unrelated to the food, was the valet who insisted on a tip even as we were about to leave one.

07/03/2026: This is a wonderful discovery that transports you to the Basque Country through the flavors of its dishes. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The tapas and desserts are generous and delicious. They leave you wanting more! We will gladly return and recommend it. 🙂

05/12/2025: A €14 salad consisting mainly of lettuce leaves! The Caesar salad had mayonnaise dressing and a few breaded pieces of chicken. No croutons. The Parmesan had no flavor. Avoid it.

06/03/2026: A Michelin star, a magnificent dining room, beautiful glassware, and silver cutlery. Dinner promised to be a wonderful Valentine's Day! However, it was marred by several missteps. The cuisine was certainly creative, but stingy, using simple, inexpensive ingredients for four out of the six courses, and the desserts were disappointing. The cheese platter was excellent, though, and we didn't refuse it given the meager portions. From the very first bite, we encountered an ingredient we had specifically requested be avoided (in which case, why ask us a few days prior?), the wines were poor value for money, and the desserts were bland and uninspiring. Two members of staff were arrogant. Also worth noting: the only restroom in the establishment offered only cold water for handwashing. Only the chef seemed honest, although he was surprised that we weren't particularly impressed by some of the dishes. We expect better from this "starred" establishment, which would do well to improve. There are few reviews on Google, but I'm making the effort to prevent some people from having this very disappointing experience in the capital of French gastronomy!

07/03/2026: I discovered Lebanese cuisine at Le Régal Café on Place du Forez in Lyon. The food is very high quality. It was delicious, and the welcome was very warm on the terrace overlooking a charming square. I highly recommend it!

28/11/2025: My favorite restaurant in Lyon for years: sophisticated cuisine, always with just the right amount of boldness. They often have game, but also more classic dishes, and they're very welcoming to vegetarians if you let them know in advance. The service is impeccable, attentive, and discreet, and the setting is lovely: hardwood floors, a French-style ceiling, and plenty of space. A hearing-impaired member of our group actually had a great evening at a restaurant there for once!
