And Chef Guillaume, who so skillfully shares his discoveries and passion, all with simplicity, kindness, and good humor. A place to return to without hesitation. Excellent value for money (excluding wines).

Don't hesitate to check it out; we had a truly excellent time with the fantastic team at this restaurant!

12/09/2026: Odessa Comptoir is by far my favorite restaurant in Lyon. I loved being able to try multiple dishes and pair everything with some really good wine. It’s the kind of place where you can order a bunch of things, share, and just enjoy the experience. The inside has such a fun vibe. It’s definitely cramped, but in a way that makes the place feel lively and leads to good conversations and great people watching. I’d absolutely recommend it for dinner, but make a reservation beforehand because this is a popular one! 🍷

30/08/2026: Positive points - I love the place and have been there about three times during my visits to Lyon. - Overall, the food is very good. Of the three dishes I ordered this time, two were really excellent (the chorizo ​​and pork loin buns) and consistent with what I had enjoyed on my previous visits. Negative points - I was very disappointed with the €11 tomato salad shown at the bottom of my photo. I find this dish quite inconsistent with the rest of the menu: very little apparent effort put into the ingredients and, above all, a truly tiny portion for the price. I almost felt ripped off. For €11 worth of tomatoes, one would at least expect a much more generous portion. As it stands, I would prefer to see this dish removed from the menu or at least double the quantity. Otherwise, objectively, it's highway robbery; forgive me, but it's too obvious with this dish. - The service was adequate but rather understated and uninviting. Nothing unpleasant, but a bit more friendliness would have made the experience much more welcoming. - Finally, the restroom bin was constantly overflowing, even though the restaurant was very quiet and several staff members were available. This is the kind of detail that could easily be checked and corrected. In short: a place I enjoy and where I've eaten very well before, but this last experience was too inconsistent to give more than 3 stars.

31/08/2026: A truly excellent bistro. Generous in both quantity and quality, I was expecting a hearty meal, but it was also refined and high-quality. The service was fantastic.

02/09/2026: We had a wonderful time at La Mère Brazier, a truly delightful culinary experience with completely new and exciting flavors. The food was beautifully cooked and presented. My only slight reservation was that my husband didn't care for the sauce that accompanied the sweetbreads, but I was absolutely delighted with my meal. Special mention goes to the sommelier who recommended the wine. The staff is attentive without being intrusive. They even ask about any allergies. The setting is understated, and the tableware is elegant. This restaurant is highly recommended.

03/09/2026: A wonderful discovery and a very pleasant atmosphere. A very warm welcome. The dining rooms are small but intimate. Friendly and amusing conversations with the manager who served us and offered helpful advice. The dishes were delicious and generous, accompanied by excellent sauces. We will gladly return.

12/09/2026: A huge thank you for this wonderful evening! The food was excellent, flavorful, and prepared with care. The chef's recommendation was a real gem that delighted our palates. The meal was accompanied by a superb selection of wines, perfectly paired with the dishes. A big thank you also to the front-of-house team: the service was exceptionally warm, attentive, and friendly. We highly recommend this restaurant in Lyon – we will definitely be back!

02/09/2026: First evening in Lyon with a bit of a disappointment: truly bland risotto... mussels with only their shells... flavorless prawns... rice and peas so over-inflated with flavor that they lost their flavor; the cheeses on the finish were truly embarrassing... high prices for the quality of the dishes.

09/09/2026: A superb and delightful interlude during our lunch, with its three-course service. Excellent from start to finish. The thoughtful touches at the beginning and end of the meal were truly appreciated. We will certainly return for dinner.

24/08/2026: It was a very nice experience being there. I loved the atmosphere and the service. Also the food in the morning (we had an omelet a la trouffe) was very tasty (though a bit more oily for me). The salat and the dressing had an amazing acidity that balanced the taste of the egg. Together with the black coffee i must say that I really enjoyed the brunch. After that later i had also a mousse au chocolat. I must say that the mousse was really tasty but i didn't really understand the meaning of whipped cream on the side without the ice cream. Maybe mousse au chocolat is offered like this in France but for me mousse au chocolat should be served with ice cream, and maybe whipped cream on top of ice cream. I will definitely visit it again!

10/09/2026: Oh what a pity we were only in Lyon for one night because we wanted to try everything on the menu!! Food exceptional, excellent value and obviously cooked with love and attention. Service fantastic. Atmosphere perfect and time taken by the owners to explain the menu. We will definitely be back when we return to lovely Lyon. Thank you for a great night and definitely the best meal we’ve had on our travels in France.

09/09/2026: I've lived in Lyon for five years and I hadn't yet had the chance to eat at this Bouchon, which is almost always packed! It was absolutely delicious and a lovely experience. The restaurant is family-run, and everyone is so charming. Even after five years, I'm still discovering Lyonnais dishes I'd never even heard of! Here, you take your time to eat, to chat with your neighbors and the staff, so if you're in a hurry, this isn't the place for you! It was such a wonderful evening, go for it!!
