Here's a ready-to-publish version, streamlined and without the repetitions/typos from the voice dictation: --- **A typical little Lyonnais bistro, a must-book** A truly charming and authentic bistro, in the purest Lyonnais tradition—right down to the passage through a traboule (a covered passageway) to get to the restrooms, a real picturesque touch! The dining room seats about thirty, complemented by a tiny sidewalk terrace: it's best to reserve, even on a Monday evening, or you risk being turned away. As for the food: a fresh and generous Lyonnaise salad as a starter. The pea soup (offered as the daily starter) was delicious, light, and perfectly seasonal—ideal to begin the meal. For the main course, a quenelle served in an excellent crayfish sauce, though without any side dishes (no rice or potatoes) — surprising but not a problem, as the quenelle was perfectly satisfying on its own. The andouillette sausage, on the other hand, was served with boiled potatoes: both were cooked to perfection, and a wise choice that didn't make the dish too heavy. For dessert, the homemade chocolate mousse was the perfect ending to the meal — absolutely divine. A highly recommended restaurant, ideal for 4 to 6 people maximum, given the size of the place, I'd say.

09/06/2026: I had my birthday dinner there! The chef is very pleasant and his cuisine is very creative. The atmosphere is a refreshing change from very contemporary restaurants; I highly recommend it.

08/07/2026: We had a great evening here. We went for the small plates, and everything we tried was really tasty. The owner was lovely and really helpful, giving us recommendations for the wine, as well as suggesting some other wine shops to check out. The place itself has a really cool atmosphere and feels like somewhere you’d happily spend a few hours. A great experience overall and somewhere we’d definitely return to.

06/07/2026: A great place for drinks with friends & sharing snacks. Service was excellent, so was the atmosphere. The slightly raw look exuded a more authentic local rather than touristy commercial feel. A few snacks stand out, including the chorizo buns & Buns a l’ail. Poulet roti & echine de porc good too, but salad Thai was a little disappointing. So was Eton Mess, it was nothing like the real thing but we it was a nice reinvention & we wolfed it down never-the-less.

28/06/2026: Delicious food, original cocktails, efficient yet friendly service, a pleasant (and cool!) atmosphere, unique tour options and scavenger hunts... A new favorite spot for us in Lyon! 27/06/2026: We ate here yesterday. We were thrilled with the quality and taste. I had a local, or rather French, specialty. Today we had steak and I had scallops. Excellent side dishes and the sauces were divine. We live just a stone's throw away and I'll definitely be back. The prices are very reasonable and it seemed like there were a lot of locals there too.

26/06/2026: Maison Villemanzy is a classic on the slopes of Croix-Rousse, known of course for its exceptional view of the city! And what a view it is! It's a unique place that I enjoyed rediscovering after several years! The set menu is quite reasonably priced and offers a wide selection of dishes. For me, the pea soup as a starter was a delight! I was a little more disappointed by my beef tartare, which was the low point of the evening. Everything else was perfect: from the attentive service to the view, and even the dishes in general were very good (especially the pork with polenta). But clearly, the tartare was a huge disappointment. For the price of the set menu, one expects much better quality; it's definitely the area for improvement, in my opinion. This doesn't detract too much from my experience, and it would be unfair to deduct a star for it. I'll keep an eye on how the dish develops, and I hope to return soon and be pleasantly surprised! Thank you so much for the perfect welcome, exceptional service, and for being so attentive to our requests! We hope to return soon!

28/05/2026: It was a very good Lyonnais bistro. We came because it was recommended to us. We don't regret it, it was very good and very generous.

25/05/2026: A wonderful time spent with family at this establishment – ​​a must-visit! The staff is fantastic, the food is generous and authentic, and the setting is lovely! Excellent value for money, with reasonably priced wine. Go for it!

06/03/2026: A Michelin star, a magnificent dining room, beautiful glassware, and silver cutlery. Dinner promised to be a wonderful Valentine's Day! However, it was marred by several missteps. The cuisine was certainly creative, but stingy, using simple, inexpensive ingredients for four out of the six courses, and the desserts were disappointing. The cheese platter was excellent, though, and we didn't refuse it given the meager portions. From the very first bite, we encountered an ingredient we had specifically requested be avoided (in which case, why ask us a few days prior?), the wines were poor value for money, and the desserts were bland and uninspiring. Two members of staff were arrogant. Also worth noting: the only restroom in the establishment offered only cold water for handwashing. Only the chef seemed honest, although he was surprised that we weren't particularly impressed by some of the dishes. We expect better from this "starred" establishment, which would do well to improve. There are few reviews on Google, but I'm making the effort to prevent some people from having this very disappointing experience in the capital of French gastronomy!

24/06/2026: The terrace is nice, the welcome was quite friendly, but otherwise it's very mediocre. My burger was completely dry and tasteless, and my partner's was the same—quite bland. Disappointed. We won't be going back...except maybe for a coffee.

08/04/2026: This was our first time trying Lebanese cuisine, and it was absolutely delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly, always smiling, and helpful. We ordered a variety of dishes; I had the Shawarma (really delicious) and it cost me 10 euros. They also let us try their falafel (a complimentary dish). I highly recommend it! Great prices 🥰
