17/01/2026: We arrived as a couple, and the waiter just looked at us without saying a word. Neither did we 😂 After ten seconds, I finally blurted out, "Can we eat?" He pointed to a table. We sat down, but the table was sticky. I gestured to him to ask if we could move, but no luck. So we took another table next door… also sticky. Anyway, I ordered. I chose a pig's stomach soup. Five minutes later, he brought me a large bowl of tripe soup, explaining that they were out of stomach. The soup was very good, piping hot, and very spicy—perfect for a 2°C (36°F) day. In short: terrible service, good food but ridiculously expensive, with a simple bowl of rice costing €4.

The Peking duck and stir-fried noodles are definitely worth trying 😋. Fast service, discreet and efficient staff 👍. 12/04/2026: I ordered caramel pork to take away. The taste is very good, but it's swimming in oil; it's a bit sickening. There's no real sweet sauce.

16/05/2026: Hello, peace be upon you, I have been ordering from you for 6 or 7 years now, and until now everything has always gone very well, especially with the owner and his children, who have always been respectful and professional. Unfortunately, during my last order, on Saturday evening, May 16th, I dealt with two employees, and the experience was very disappointing. I had ordered 9 pizzas, but there was a mistake in my order. I live 35 minutes from your establishment. When I called to report the error, I would have appreciated at least a reasonable and helpful solution: for example, coming back another day, like Monday, or a discount on a future order. Instead, I was clearly given an ultimatum: either I returned immediately with the pizza to exchange it, or there was no solution. Frankly, in the evening, a 35-minute drive away, I don't have time for that, nor do I have to make another hour-long trip for a mistake that wasn't mine. After 6 or 7 years of loyalty, I'm very disappointed with how this situation was handled. It's regrettable, because you've lost a loyal customer. It's truly a shame the owner wasn't there that evening. I sincerely hope he sees this message and takes action.

17/05/2026: I went to this restaurant once before and then returned a month later. The first experience was quite decent: good quality meat and generous portions. However, the atmosphere is very cafeteria-like: everything has to be rushed, the servers are running around everywhere, and you really get the feeling they're focused on maximizing sales. But the real problem is the service. If you're expecting a smile or even a modicum of friendliness from the bespectacled manager, don't expect much. You mostly feel like a receipt rather than a customer. Some people should remember that the restaurant business isn't just about taking payments; it's also about hospitality.

16/05/2026: The food was good as usual; however, when taking our main order, the waiter made a very inappropriate remark! We were a full table (16 people). Of those sixteen, I was the only one of French origin, and the other fifteen were of Asian origin. When taking our order, the waiter had the nerve to say, "Sorry, we don't have any more dogs!" Even if it was meant as a joke, this kind of comment has no place in this type of conversation. As they say, "You can laugh at anyone, but not with just anyone." I'm sure this was an isolated incident, but as a Frenchman, it saddens me that this could happen when I wanted to celebrate a birthday in one of Lyon's best steakhouses. This will, of course, be reported to the manager so that it doesn't happen again. Thank you anyway; it was good, even if the flavor wasn't quite there. Best of luck to you.

18/01/2026: The evening went extremely well. This is the third time we've booked a table at this bar on Thursdays before going to student nights, and whether there are 5 or 20 of us, we're always very well received. The waiter is friendly and patient, and the prices are the most affordable we've found in Lyon. The music selection is very tasteful, but not too loud, so we can still hear each other. We recommend it 100%, and plan to return as soon as possible.

11/03/2026: Beware of this grocery store; they don't respect hygiene. Once, I bought bread and found it had already been opened and was missing a piece. They also take advantage of customers to overcharge if they're not careful. Avoid it.

04/01/2026: I had a package from the post office delivered to this pickup point, even though it wasn't where I'd requested it. What a nasty surprise! The service was appalling. The man with glasses was incredibly rude. He refused to give me my package, even though I had my partner's ID. Even his colleagues seemed exasperated with him and were practically telling him to stop making a fuss and just give me the package. He even started getting aggressive, so I decided to leave before things escalated. I absolutely do not recommend this place; it didn't make me want to try their food at all... If you're bothered by using a pickup point, don't.

18/05/2026: Don't go there for the food; it's far too expensive for what it is. It's not that it's bad, but it's absolutely not worth the price. Otherwise, the service and atmosphere are excellent.

21/02/2026: Great place for a quick bite. Very good tacos, with various sizes to suit every occasion. Even the smallest one fills you up enough to keep you from going hungry. Fair prices, friendly staff.

18/03/2026: Small restaurant near Place Jean Macé. The service is fairly quick and the welcome is unobtrusive. The food is good, but the ribeye steak at 18 euros is a bit pricey... the daily special I saw on neighboring plates looked good, judging by what other customers were saying.... The atmosphere is a little dreary... the establishment is clean and well-maintained.

23/03/2026: My partner and I arrived on a Saturday evening around 7:30 pm. The restaurant was quite quiet (only three tables were occupied), which might have given it a more peaceful than festive atmosphere. However, the elegant setting, the soft music, and especially the friendliness of the staff created a truly pleasant and relaxing ambiance. The food was simply excellent: we thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end. We had a wonderful evening and will definitely be back 😊
