28/11/2025: The white toque, or rather I should say the black toque, the pizzas ordered were… I think the cook confused brioche dough with pizza dough. It's a real shame…
16/11/2025: We are very disappointed. We wanted to try Uber Eats. We ordered at 8 pm and at 8:40 pm we were told that the order had just been cancelled by the restaurant… Great… after waiting 40 minutes!!!!

30/09/2025: To follow up on my review of your 1.50€ baguette, check out the reviews of the bakery "Les 3 petits pains" in Moulins, I bought an excellent 1€ baguette there today...so there are some who know how to make it!
21/09/2025: Spending a week in Saint Paulien, we visited this bakery several times. The staff was very pleasant and friendly, and above all, they offered excellent products, whether it was the bread, the pastries, the generous sandwiches at €3.70 🤩, the pizzas, the quiches, the puff pastries, the delicious Ruessien, and the formidable autumn tart.
A highly recommended establishment.

15/02/2026: Just the restaurant. The service was rushed and cold. They didn't hesitate to move tables even though you're just having dessert and it's barely 9:30 PM. The quality has declined. Salt everywhere. (Meurotte cheese. Cabbage as an amuse-bouche. Mushrooms in the chicken.) Where are the bacon and cream? Disappointed, we won't be back!

26/02/2026: We ate at Le Grill twice, and both times we were delighted! The value for money is excellent. We had two starters, two main courses, two desserts, two aperitifs, and a bottle of wine. The meat was of very high quality, cooked to perfection. The service was impeccable. Thank you so much, we will gladly return!
16/02/2026: I'm surprised to see negative reviews; we discovered this grill on our way back from skiing with our grandchildren. The welcome and service were very pleasant; the dishes were good quality and plentiful, and the dessert was original.
We'll be back.

03/03/2026: A meal with friends (7 people) on the recommendation of the guesthouse owner. We were very disappointed by the quality of the various dishes and the service. We had the set menu for €26. The butcher's cut, ordered rare, arrived medium-rare. The trout fillet with Flemish carbonnade sauce was overcooked; the sauce was very disappointing and bitter. The accompanying vegetables—potatoes, carrots, and zucchini—were waterlogged and tasteless. The poached eggs in red wine sauce and the fried fish appetizers were satisfactory. The calf's head and tongue were enjoyable. The setting (reception in an "air-conditioned room") was noisy, and the service was very slow.
03/03/2026: We were left freezing outside while there was a free table inside.
The starter was served on the terrace, and after we insisted, they finally seated us inside.
We all ordered calf's head, which was disgusting; the meat was swimming in a pool of vinegar along with the vegetables.
We looked under the table to see if the gribiche sauce was there!
To top it all off, we had ordered pear tarts, but they served us lemon tarts instead. They showed no remorse when we complained (many other dissatisfied customers).

13/10/2025: Had a great time. Very good atmosphere. Friendly. The waitresses and owner are very pleasant. The room is full every time we come. Calf's head to die for.
09/10/2025: Very pleasant dining experience. The owner, who is the chef, comes to your table and chats with you in a very friendly manner about his cuisine and places to visit.
The waitress is responsive and cheerful. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality and quantity.
Definitely worth the detour.

09/03/2026: The waitress, completely unfazed, came over to tell us, "I'll take the bread back; I don't have any more for the table that just arrived." Shameful...
We were asked three times if our order had been taken.
Wait time between ordering and receiving our meal: 20-25 minutes for a total of 30 covers in the restaurant.
However, the youngest Asian waitress made a bit more of an effort.
The shrimp skewer, though, was quite good.
10/02/2026: New ownership and new name: The 28th. Excellent regional menu.
Well-cooked, beautifully presented, and with fast service.
We'll be back...

14/02/2026: Endless waits every time, especially at the drive-thru. There were only two cars ahead of me and a wait of over 45 minutes – it's unacceptable! I saw people park in the lot, go inside, and leave before me! And it's not the first time; I wanted to try again, but no, it's always the same.
09/02/2026: We came yesterday for afternoon tea with my five-and-a-half-year-old son. The restaurant's cleanliness was very concerning: overflowing bins, filthy toilets, no soap in the restrooms, food in the sink, and all the tables were dirty.
We had to ask for our table to be cleaned before we could sit down.
The outdoor play equipment was in the same state as the indoors... When I asked if it could be cleaned so my child could play on it, I was told it was dirty because of the weather and that "it's not the right season"... I simply pointed out that there's no season for a child to play on outdoor play equipment. In response, we were handed a mop, with the explanation of staff shortages.
Yet, six people were present, including one who was smoking at the entrance, without moving far from the fast-food restaurant's access doors, before entering the kitchen in civilian clothes, without appropriate attire... I have never seen such a dirty establishment or such a lack of professionalism. A very disappointing experience, especially with a child...

14/08/2024: Discovered this nice restaurant on the way back from France to Freiburg. Very nice courtyard with a great wall design, which serves as a stage background on Fridays for great singing and show performances.

Louhans is typically the town that we pass through…
So we stopped for lunch.
A very short menu, which is an indicator with fresh products.
A daily menu at €22 that I recommend.
An extra smoothly service led by the chef’s wife.
Elegantly presented dishes.
A careful decoration.

26/08/2024: Partis de Lons le Saunier en vélo ce lundi matin, très contents de notre choix de nous arrêter déjeuner à La Poularde... menu Express très bien, produits frais, service impeccable et rapide, jeunes serveurs souriants et attentionnés, nous reviendrons!
17/08/2024: Tous les plats étaient excellents et bien présentés. Service par une jeune apprentie très professionnelle et très agréable. Le repas en terrasse était très appréciable.
